Help- planning vacation for summer

My family and I are planning our first far away family trip from Ga. to Calf. Any advice? Places to stay? We've been to Orlando almost every summer for the past 6 yrs or so. We usually go to Disney & Universal. I am thinking maybe the Calf. park and lego land & the zoo. Not sure where to start. My kids are 5 and 11(boys). I dont know anything about the Calf. theme park or Lego Land. I've been to Disney, Universal and the zoo before but it was back when the Olympics where there. Thanks for any advise!!!!
