Help With Resort????

I need so much help! I'm so excited about our trip, but can't decide on resorts. We don't have kids, so it's just me and my huband. But what resort is best for us. We are looking at Swan/Dolphin, Wilderness Lodge, and Animal Kingdom lodge. I'm not sure we can afford the savannah view. We are going on 4/23-4/28/05. I'm reading two books on disney right now, and these are what we are concidering. Any one have any thoughts and opions? Or even pictures? ........I'm new to this hope i'm doing this correctly.

I haven't stayed at any of the resorts you mention...yet!! I have stayed in the Boardwalk area - which is lovely and during our trip next year we are staying at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge - really looking forward to that

Hi Tiffany We have only stayed at the Swan, loved it! They are not themed Disney, but since you don't have kids, you may not care. I have been to alot of the Disney resorts, and so far, Swan is my fav!

We love WL and AKL. Very similar is style and both are a good choice. Can't go wrong with either one.

WL
- smaller and more cozy & intimate
- I love the pool area here, beautiful & relaxing
- great transportation to MK


AKL
- often can get great rates & sometimes upgrades
- animals, animals, animals
- great eats
- beautiful to just walk all over and absorb

Hi Tiffany. I've stayed once at the WL and once at the VWL. That is one of my favorites. I've also stayed at AKL, we booked a regular view and were upgraded to a savannah view. It was spectacular. We woke up in the morning to see giraffe and ostrich oustide our balcony. Boma is
a fantastic place to eat. The only drawback is it is so far out there. I've never stayed at the Swan or Dolphin but we have visited. It is lovely. It has boat service to EPCOT and MGM. Try this website for pictures and more information on all the resorts allearsnet.com
