I'm full of questions today . . .
We plan to fly into Las Vegas and begin our two-week western trip from that point. Likely we'll arrive in the evening, which -- because we're coming from the East Coast -- will feel like 10:00 or 11:00 to us. We'll want to pick up our rental car, then find a hotel for that one night. The next morning we plan to get up, make a grocery story run, then head for our first stop: The Grand Canyon. We plan to "do Vegas" at the end of our trip.
Can anyone recommend a decent but inexpensive hotel near the airport?
Will it be easy for us to find a Super-Walmart (or similar) on the road from Vegas to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon? I say Super-Walmart because we will need to purchase a cooler and a couple other things as well as actual food.
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
