Is there shopping within walking distance of Orient Bay?

And is it good shopping? If we want to hit a beach for awhile and then shop, does anyone have recommendations? St. Maarten obviously.

No, there are huts along the beach that sells t-shirts, local crafts, food, etc. but, no real shopping anywhere nearby. At least that's the case when we were there a couple of years ago.
