Bally's ~ decent, typical hotel rooms, good service, a little smaller (and more manageable) than the large hotels on the strip, great location (across from Bellagio! and mid-strip), large (unthemed) pool
Imperial Palace ~ just got back, standard motely rooms, good housekeeping service (very prompt to deliver extra towels), far too few elevators and very confusing floor plan, while its acceptable it's deffinately not upscale, good location though.
Palace Station ~ about a mile off the strip, very affordable (we got this for less than half the price of the cheapest hotel on the strip), clean rooms, good service, we were in a side building and the main tower would have been nicer, train theming is nice, good hotel for the price (but keep in mind, you have to drive to the strip)
Hotels I want to stay at...
1. Bellagio (the fountains are amazing, inside is gorgeous, O, non-smokey smelling, very refined, etc.)
2. Paris (I like the feel of this place, and the piano bar is amazing!)
3. Wynn (I've never been inside, but I've heard great things)
4. The Venetian (love the Canals)
5. Hard Rock Hotel (off the strip, but it looks fun, plus they have a restaurant with amazing specials)
