Please Help a Block Head!

I've been coming here for some time and I've picked up on some of the acronyms but most escape me. I remember a thread when I joined the Dis Boards that explained them but I can't find it. If anyone has the time please post a list of them. I have to tell you, It's like reading code at times and I am begining to feel inadequate ;-). Help a poor schlep out!
