Is this good? I checked Alamo and Dollar with various BJ's codes/coupons, and both were between $310-$315.

I am doing May8-15th.

Emerald reserve

$249.17 All inclusive 7 days same codes. Just did it today2/29/04.

First I have to say that this is highest I've ever booked with National before. Now that National has your rental history, I go back to it and check my previous prices. I rented from them 7 times over the past 2 years. I just returned from an 8 day stay and paid $162 TOTAL for EA (full size).

Here's what I have reserved for my April 28th-May 8th stay (11 days rental)

Emerald Isle/Intermediate--bottom line

Subtotal for 1 week plus 4 days is $229.90

Total after taxes fees and everything else is $299.72

(I think my base weekly amount is $160, where in the past I've average $120 or less).

I used the Carlson Code recommended by Mary Mousesaver: 5760339

And used the One Day free rental coupon/National ($22.99). did have the BJ's coupon ($20) but received the coupon this weekend.

I will be watching to see if the base amounts starts to drop as we get closer. It did for my February trip, by $40 before I left. So my fingers are crossed.

I have tried almost every combination of codes and coupons, so am always open to other suggestions! I have checked Dollar too, and national still beats them for an 11 day rental. I do have to admit, my last 2 trips (Nov. 03 and Feb. 04) the Emerald Aisle was PACKED with every type of car imaginable. Minivans, SUV, everything, so will try to stick with National.

I just booked National, minivan, 8 day rental for $294 all inclusive.

Dates: 5/11 - 5/18
Rate Code:wweb
Entertainment book coupon and contract ID.

It's $35 cheaper than I got a couple weeks ago. Go figure.

I just redid my National ressie.....got the same deal dijd did.
Minivan 8-days $294.00

Dec 1-Dec 6 Intermediate with National using Carlson code and Entertainment Book coupon $125.14

Just booked National for May 24 - May 31, Minivan, Disney Club Contract, BJ's $20 coupon, Product Code WWEB. Total including taxes for the week $219. I think that is pretty good.

Anyone else still trying the old DC contract number? The system still takes it and it still provides a great discount.

disneykidds:

I would be wary of using the disney code. The disney club is defunct now and the card is no good. I know the computer accepts it but....

Dorisdvu: Yes anyone can use the contract code 5042947. it is a "vacation outlet" code. For more information go to mousesavers.com

Just booked brother and convinced him to sign up (free) for EA :

March 11 - 21 (10 days) Las Vegas McCarran Airport

National EA: Intermediate

1 week @ 148.94 + 3 days @ 24.82
Rate Code: WEBK8
Visa Contract ID 5042969 20% Discount: -22.34

Ent. Coupon 10008615 Discount: -20.00

Grand total after tax etc.: $231.19

I convinced him to join EA so he could pick his car....he really wants an SUV but didn't want to spend the $$$. Cross your fingers that he gets one! thanks.

Anyone know what cars are usually on EA at McCarran?

curlyjbs.....
What is the rate code "WEBK8" for?....can anyone use it?
What about the coupon code? Do you have to present the coupon when you pick up the car?
And the Visa contract?.....would any Visa do, or is that a Disney Visa code?

Okay, what about rate code WWEB? Anyone okay to use it??

Thanks

Hey cindyfan~

The webk8 product code must be a National code. it popped up on the reservation. I didn't type it in. i honestly don't know if anyone can use it. I don't see why not.

The visa code is for ANY visa. Like I stated before I wouldn't use it unless i was booking with a visa card.

The coupon is found in any Entertainment book. Doesnt matter what state. Yes you need to hand them the coupon.

Check out mousesavers.com - look in transportation- National. All your questions can be answered there. :D
