Quick trip pre Memorial Day work/fun combo. Not many pics but checked off lots of newbies and hit some favorite spots.
Trattoria Al Forno Dinner: pre drinks at Acracadabar, nice setting, dark and cool (temp and vibe). Dinner was very good, pizza lover, vegan, and pescatarian all happy *new for me*
JAVA in the Swan, very convenient for a quick bfast before the parks although very pricey even for a hotel and a hotel in Disney, a small latte, an unheated plain croissant, and a chobani yogurt was $17! *new Swan first timer* Added photo, nice perk Java does have Mickey waffles
Polite Pig lunch: very good, pulled pork, corn muffin, and the best brussel sprouts. Food was excellent, but felt the inside seating was a bit dirty *new for me* (pic)
Boathouse Dinner: Second time here, was not wowed the first time, felt the same the second go around unfortunately. Feels just like a big chain. The blueberry lemonade is yummy though, rolls were greasy.
Marketplace at the Beach Club breakfast: went for the traditional Disney bfast platter. Mickey waffles, biscuit, and potatoes were good, bacon and sausage undercooked, inedible (pic) *second time here*
Chicken Guy- good at what it is, chicken, fries, sauces (pic)
Homecoming dinner- EXCELLENT, worth the hype, tried new chicken dish, watermelon margarita, biscuits, mashed potatoes *new*
Casey’s Corner lunch- classic fave
Tambu Lounge dinner- AMAZING, just what we wanted, drinks, wings, potstickers, noodles, bread pudding (pic), no wait, 1/2 the price and time of Ohana
more to come…
