Renting points vrs Member services discount

What is the discount on say a 1 night stay in a studio at the BC, compared to renting the points.

The points rental appear to be roughly 13$ a point putting a 29$ night at 380$ What is the discount from disney through being a DVC is it more or less?

The member discount, when available, is 25% off of rack rate.

I had a reservation last month at BWV that I had to change dates a couple times because of work. When I changed my dates in September, there were no studios for Nov 10-15. I booked an AP rate of 35% off, it was around $285 a night with tax. The preferred points were 15 per night. I did end up getting it on points through stalking the website and grabbing nights as they came open, plus one night came through on waitlist. So be sure to compare all options.
