I am new to this board and am in the process of buying my first DVC through resale. I thought I would share the following

headzip ---$79-$14090-170-VWL-Aug-0/15, 170/16, 170/17, 170/18-Seller pays MF '16, sent 9/1 - passed ROFR 9/20
Wow- great price! Congratulations!!!

Congratulations and good luck with addonitis :teeth:

Our first contract, passed today, didn't post before so as not to jinx ourselves! :) Was only a 4 business day wait, never imagined it would go THAT quickly but we are stoked it did. Glad to be on board!

Up-n-Up---$83-$20495-240-AKV-Jun-0/15, 240/16, 240/17, 240/18-Seller pays MF 16- sent 9/23, passed 9/28
Wow, that was crazy fast! Congratulations!!!

gluestickgirl---$92-$5025-50-SSR-Mar-0/15, 0/16, 0/17, 50/18-seller pays MF '17- sent 9/29

hoping we're a quick pass. our last one took the absolute longest it could at every step!

our actual total paid will be lower due to a credit from the seller for the 2017 MF... but i wasn't sure if i should use the before credit or after credit number there?
Since '17 dues haven't been paid yet, you wouldn't include those costs.

Best of luck :flower1:!

Some random musings as we near the end of Q3:

-Prices are going down significantly. I feel that two brokers are seriously manipulating the market with artificially low prices and the market is therefore heavily skewed towards buyers right now.

-DVD is processing contracts extremely quickly right now, probably in an attempt to reconcile their FYE. It will be extremely interesting to see whether the traditional ROFR ramp-up occurs in Q4 with the prices trending downwards.

-They don't seem to be concerning themselves with buying back VWL at all. Might we be close to the sales kickoff for VWL2 (sorry, CCCV)?

Great :)

I hope they will approve mine soon. It's so much wasted time if they do take the contract.

Nope. Taken this morning, 9/30. :(
Very surprising they took that one. Probably the highest price taken I've seen this year at BLT. I wasn't surprised they took mine but they must have need your UY. Fyi, there is a lot of Feb out there right now that asking less than 112 with full 2016 points.

I talked with DVC and they said they have no BLT March UY contracts available right now and there are rumors of quite the long waitlist, which would explain the $180/point demand that Disney has right now for BLT points. They are turning a tidy profit on these ROFR buybacks, to the tune of about $10K each.

BLT buyback spree. Interesting.

Oh well.. Time to find another contract!

"Soon I will have a new contract - one far younger and more powerful! "

I'm running out of contracts to bid on. The March UY is either very popular or wasn't sold much for BLT.
