room requests

I remember reading to request a room then follow it up 3 days from departure to confirm it. Who do you confirm it through? I hate bothering member services on issues like this. TIA

It used to be that people contacted the Room Controller at the specific resort, usually through Fax. Now, with room ready, few rooms are pre-blocked (usually folks requesting more than one room be near each other, or large groups for special events). Member Publications have requested that the faxes no longer be sent.

Requests are simply requests, nothing is guarateed. Your request is noted on your reservatios and hopefully there will be a room available when you check-in that will meet some of your requests.
