I was at the front desk trying to figure out my OBC situation and someone before me was trying to book a placeholder through the app but was unsuccessful and the person at the desk booked it for them. I was told it would be charged within 48 hours.
The app was very glitchy for me (especially the messenger) but I was able to book mine and I received my confirmation email on the 9th. My guess is you checked your inbox?
