I'm pretty sure it was just the heat getting to me. A few hours of sleep in ac and i felt much better .. which nicely leads me to my next post ...

Day 3 in the parks ... thursday .. ak

An early start to get there for early entry .. and fop was already showing a ridiculus wait time so we went africa to go on safari. A) it was a walk on and b) the animals were more awake. Amelia got better photos than me, she was first on but i got the photos of the lions..

Lots of photos, of 'the grass where the animal had been' and where 'it is in there in the trees', later and a good safari was had.

Breakfast was from a stand in africa. This biscuit thing is very confusing to me. It is definitly not a biscuit, sort of like a scone but not quite. A biscuit is more like a cookie but no soft centre. And dont get me started on chips ... we only got 1 packet by mistake when we wanted fries.

We went on (but not necessarily in this order) kali, didnt get too wet, tough to be a bug (which was more fun than i remembered) saw the lion king (cause it is brilliant) saw nemo (and remembered our first visit when zach got ill and amelia lost a pin, got new ones, and then found the first on the grumpy one's shoe)
we also got our photo taken with mickey and minnie. We decided we dont like the static camaras that much,

Lunch was at flame tree.



We tended to share 2 mains between the 3 of us. I think we tended to spend about 30 ish dollars per quick service meal and we definitly had enough food.

Then it started to rain. It was getting towards afternoon snooze time, and we were heading out the park. 'We cant get much wetter' i said. I was wrong.









I Was soaked all the way through. So back to the hotel, dripping wet, we went. It was dry and sunny when we got back.

Im pretty sure we went to epcot after a change of clothing and a rest ... but there is another post for that.

Sorry, rl got in the way, back to school for us, and music starting back up, but some good news, daughter passed her driving test on her first attempt!

So where was ? Day 3 evening? Quick visit to epcot i think. I think we mooched around thecworld showcase, we might have been on frozen. Ratatouie was down, but we noticed it was working again. It had a short queue which we rushed to but whilst in queue it died again. But we did meet sone very nice lawyers from virginia who zach talked the ears off and i think they enjoyed his company. We got ll as we were in q for return later.

SO went to the boardwalk for pizza and then amelia the went back and did the ride. I couldn't face even more steps.

Day 4 ... has to be hollywood studios as it is the only park we havent visited yet.

We decided to go via skyliner as we hadn't used it yet. We loved it.


got yo the park, but not stupid early, i think it was still in resrt guest time. As we weren't rushing it looks like we got our photo taken.

So i think we went on a runaway railroad to start as it was a walk on! Amelia told us it was a similar tech to ratatouie (which i really can't spell).

I think we then went to galaxy edge. it had opened whilst we were in disney in 2019 so we had kept clear as it was heaving, so this was our first visit. We had ronto wraps for breakfast, which were really tasty. We went on smugglers run, using the single rider queue. So 5 min wait and luckily we still were in the same craft. Love it in galaxy edge. Whilst drinking blue milk we chatted to a cm photographer, who took out photos on the last day!



Blue milk tasts kinda like rasberry sherbert and definitely blue.
And i got some v. Expensive diet coke or a cheap souviner.

We would have seen the muppets next as we need air con.

we also went to sing at frozen. I love singing as loudly as possible and embarrasing amelia as much as possible. Zach enjoys singing too (he just got into the county choir so im a bit of a proud mummy).

Lunch was at abc (i like it there and you can fill up your refillable mugs there).

Whilst there we visited a mouse and his girl. I have the same photo with minnie from 2019 as my facebook profile. I was slightly less grey then.


We probably went to toystory land too and did shoot things as we enjoy that. Before melting our way back for afternoon break. Have i mentioned the heat yet?

We relaxed, swam (in a very warm pool) and then headed back for dinner and fantasmic. We went back by boat.

And on the way caught a rainbow. Dinner was from a couple of the quick serves near the ampitheatre and was fine.

The show was great. We streamed out of the park , along with the hoard, through the back passages of hs. Then back to the beach club by boat. I think the cms wanted to finish as much as we wanted to get back and were funny with it.

Day 5 was a going to start with a lie in. We were all shattered by 4 full on days in the parks all with early starts.
