Tanya did an awesome job of your siggie!!! :thumbsup2

I really like it.
Thanks Blue :)
Well thanks for asking Mick.:flower3: I had a dr's appointment today. The infection is looking like it is a little bit better-not much but a little. I think getting on antibiotics yesterday helped. He said my stitches look great and the other side of my body isn't infected like the left side. I still have one drain in. I probably won't get that out til later in the week.

I had a raging headache when I woke up this morning and later in the day I had to take a nausea pill. :confused3 I'm not sure what happened-if I'm getting sick or what but this afternoon was a bit rough.

Each day I feel a little better though and I actually wore clothes to my appointment today rather than my fleece jammies that I've been wearing. (a t-shirt and sweats, but still, it's clothing).
I hope you continue to feel better every day LtP I know from personal experience as a mama how hard it is not to feel at your best.... I hope the headaches and pain subside soon for ya

Buzz, can we get an update soon? I mean, I know it's hard, with you having to cook Dorito's and stuff....but, it's 5:24 in the a.m. and I need something else to read! (not that I think y'all are awake now, or anything...)

Tonight's Menu: Pizza Rolls!!

Here's are links to a trip report I did in 2001 right after the 9-11 terrorist attacks. I did a Day by Day trippy which means each day is a different link. That's the way everyone USED to them.

I am cleaning out my subscriptions and came acros these. I believe we were both in depression but didn't know it.

Wow Montana!! it doesnt sound like you at all!! It was even before LA was born. seems like you had some nice quality time with your sister though. I laughed when you said you saw Kilt or something in Canada!
Not the buzz we know and love! Thanks for sharing that...

Wow! Your writing style sure has changed!

My first Disney trip with my husband was in 2001. October 12, 2001 to be exact. I remember, because I became so deathly afraid to fly that I wanted to cancel:eek: , and they were only giving full refunds for 30 days after 9/11. We did end up flying complements of some anti-anxiety pills.:thumbsup2

The parks were EMPTY. We waited for nothing. I think the biggest crowd we saw was at the Shamu show in SeaWorld, and the stadium was only 1/4 full.

It was nice to be able to take advantage of the low crowds, but it was depressing at the same time.:guilty:

You were there the week after us.

I laughed when I saw that also. Then fondly remembered it was the FIRST time I'd seen them. That day alone at Epcot was awesome! :thumbsup2

Lin was home pregnant with LG. She was born exactly one month later.

Why were each of the days different posts:confused3

You seem so low key and matter of fact in these reports. Kind of interesting to see another side of Buzz:goodvibes

We flew to LAX the Christmas after 9/11 so I knew exactly what you were referring to with the security lines and the National Gaurdsman.

Did you ever get that bag the airport lost? The writing style was definately muted from that trip. There were some things I was thinking what what he talking about? I hadn't heard of the Legend of the Lion King at MK :confused3?

It was odd to hear you talking about the Sorcerer hat being new :rotfl:. Thanks for sharing this with us.

How is Lin today? Did she have a headache again? I hope she is feeling better.

The old trip report was great! It does totally sound like a different person, though, and you got done in six installments! It takes us that long to discuss what goes with pizza rolls for dinner (Cheetos). I had to laugh when you couldn't think of that French thing you ate for breakfast at the bakery--could it have been a croissant perhaps? :rotfl: You're cracking me up complaining about the $1 tolls and then flying home first class! :rotfl2:

In 2001, every trip report was done this way. I just copied them. This was my very first report.

Like I said, I think we were both in depression from the events from 9-11. My sister is a NewYorker and her husbands building is a block away from the WTC site. He was one running down the streets covered in dust.

I get upgraded to First Class for free. I don't pay for it. I'm 1k now on United and they kiss my butt. Back then I was Premier Executive but that's still pretty high up for United. It's nice to have status on airlines.

That's awful about your sister's husband; I can't imagine having family in NY when that was going on.

We only fly once every/every other year or so and huddle in the back with our peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (really :rotfl: ). I'm the paranoid mom that books our seats in the tail section b/c I heard it was the safest in case of a crash. DD and I got bulkhead seats on a return flight from OR last year and she kept wondering why the people in front of us had "real" glasses and were getting supper on the plane. Here, baby, have a poptart! It was too funny. I told her our credit card didn't earn sky miles, it earned Disney dollars and she was quite satisfied!:wizard:

I only read the first one so far. What ... did you have like 3 followers? :rotfl2:

I remember how everyone broke up their TRs by days and separate threads. In some ways it was cool as you could always find the next update a bit easier.

I did one in 2003 and never finished it. I didn't know how to do pictures back then so I think it was boring. We certainly have come a long way with how we write now, eh?

What a different Buzz who wrote that.

Hey Buzz! Thanks for posting those old Trip Reports. I was having trouble falling asleep today and those did the trick! :thumbsup2

Anymore "exciting" reading material you're hiding? I'll save it for bedtime tonight!
