Too funny nolanzz--the standing out statement! I don't recall seeing you so you must not "stand out" that much! 
We are in south central MI (a small rural town south of Jackson on US127). Lansing is about an hour due north while Detroit is a good 2.5 hours from here. We're actually only about 13 miles from the Ohio (my home state) border.
I suppose we spent more time at the quiet pool than anywhere else--my two fish like playing in the deep end! We didn't get as much pool time this year as next--hoping to do better weatherwise next summer!
