I'm considering upgrading a ticket for next week to an AP, but I need to clarify something. We want to be at AK on the Saturday morning and MK on Saturday night. Disney says something about not being able to enter MK after 2 on Saturdays and Sundays without a park reservation. Does that apply to all APs or just someone who hasn't had a park reservation at all on Saturday? In other words, would I need to make a reservation for MK on Saturday and scan in there before going to AK in the morning or will having a park reservation at AK make it possible for me to park hop to MK Saturday night?
You can hop to the MK after you have entered AK on that day.

I hope they fix the fact that I still have to have a park reservation even though I have a resort reservation. I’ve been blocked out on June 28 but not my family w their normal tickets. Just venting lol

Make a reservation for any other park, then join your family at MK after you tap at the other park. Obviously not ideal, but you aren't completely locked out.

I'm trying to figure out if I can use park hopper plus tickets to pay for foot golf. It used to be explicitly mentioned as a ticket use on the Disney webpage. I email Disney and got what looks like an AI generated answer that didn't answer my question. So, can you use PH+ to pay for foot golf?

I have never understood the plus ticket option. Is it additional days where you get to use the water parks and other options, or do you use those things on the same day that you also might go to a park? For example is a four day ticket with park hopper plus good for four days total admissions, or is it good for four days of park admissions PLUS four different days of doing the non-park stuff?
I have an annual pass so it doesn't impact me personally but I've always found the language vague and I'm curious.

A 4-day PH+ allows 4 days of entry to the main theme parks, PLUS 4 entries/admissions (not days) to the waterparks, mini-golf, foot-golf, ESPN or greens fees at Oak Trail golf course.

It does extend the ticket by 1 extra day -- so a 4-day base or PH ticket is valid during a 7-day window (enter a park any 4 days within that period). The PH+ makes it an 8-day window to use all options. You can do a theme park and mini-golf on the same day, or foot golf and a waterpark on the same day, or any combination of 4 theme parks and 4 plus options during that 8-day window. You can mix-and-match as you wish, or do 1 thing each day.

Thank you for explaining. That's a nice value if you use all of the entitlements!

@lanejudy , you are great at explaining things in general. I learn a lot from you and I appreciate your knowledge and ability to communicate clearly :)

I may be blind here....We have the 4 day 4 park tickets for July. If we want to add a 5th day during the visit, will it be a new, full price ticket, or would it the difference from the cost of a 4 day pass to a 5 day pass, making the extra day $60ish dollars?

It would be the difference between the 4-Park Magic ticket and a standard 5-day ticket. A 1-day ticket may be less expensive.

I am hoping to upgrade to an AP the week of June 15th while we are on vacation, just me not my family. I see that MK has no park reservations basically the entire time we are there, does anyone have any advice on what to do? I wanted to upgrade our first day to be able to use discounts. We would like to be able to rope drop MK, but I can’t do that if I have to tap in somewhere else first.

Also, I wouldn’t be able to get a virtual queue for Tron, early correct?

I am going to be using the 4 park 4 day waterpark and more ticket this summer. I am wondering how the entitlements work at Oak Trail for golf. 1 entitlement = 9 holes? If we wanted to play 18 (9 holes twice), is that possible using 2 entitlements? Or would they need to be used on different days.

You would need to use 2 entitlements to play through twice; with a 4-day ticket you get 4 "plus" options so this would leave you with 2 to use elsewhere. Tee time reservations are recommended so I suggest you ask when you call to make the reservation(s).

I have 2 Extra Tickets in my account currently. (6 Day PH and 5 Day PH). DD and I are planning a short trip in October and were going to get 4 day PH's to use. But now I think I will upgrade the passes I have to an Annual Pass as it would be close to the same amount as buying new 4 Day PH's.

We should be able to get in a few more 3-5 day trip in the next year. (She is a Nurse and works every 3rd weekend so we can plan some trips on certain weeks where she is off 5-6 days in a row, and she does not need to use any vacation time -as she has a few weeks but we are also going to Europe in May for 2 weeks)

I know we still need to make reservations with the annual pass. Is it still possible to change those reservations the day of - if we decide we want to go to a different park than the one we selected? How often are reservations not available for a park the day of? (Besides Christmas Week).

And am I understanding that I would not be able to make my own reservations until after I have actually activated the pass at one of the parks? But I can call and have someone do that for me?

Yes you can change your reservation day of as long as there is availability.

I have an unactivated annual pass and had no problem making park reservations online by myself.

I don't know the answer about the frequency of park reservations being unavailable. Things like that get reported here in this thread. I haven't seen it mentioned very often.
