Toddler tips!

We just got home from our Disney trip, 13 of us from 4/30-5/7. We had 4 toddlers/babies with us - here are a few tips that helped us during our park days, when it got hot. We kinda thought we would take the babies back to OKW for rest/naps mid day, but they ended up making rope drop and going all day. They ended up napping in strollers and leaving the park around 6pm for bedtime.
We found that during the heat of the day, these indoor play areas were so nice -
Dumbo - indoor play area
Mission Space - go through the gift shop and there's a HUGE indoor play area with darkness, for rest)
The Aquarium - no seating, but you could cool off
Splash Mountain - shaded play area near Splash Mountain was still open and relaxing.
These were great for rest and cooling off. We never hit the outdoor play area near Test Track, it seemed hot.
The Magic Kingdom 3pm parade is SO hot - not much shade - but we found a great spot near Pecos Bills - they have a decking and the parade route has tape along the route. At one spot the tape hits up to the decking, so if you sit there, no one can come later and stand in front of you. We had a spot with our stroller, toddlers and family sitting on the deck, in the shade, it was perfect.
The toddlers loved hoop De Doo review and Chef Mickey's!!
Great trip, much better and much more fun when were able to take some breaks and find some areas to wind down at the parks!!

Nice to know. I had know idea about the Mission Space area because I would never attempt to ride it! 😆

I've sat with toddler in the exit area of Vacation Fun , Animated short film (HS).
Carpeted and A/C vented. Under refurbishment now.
