Thanks everyone! We've finally touched down in Dallas with only Bec getting any sleep on the SYD to LAX!

Bit tired & just waiting for the shuttle to make a move, more issues with that as they had no record of our booking but we're not letting anything get us down! That will be dealt with when we're back.

The one sour note of the day is that my bathroom (which I used to share with my brother, now its all mine ) has some sort of ant problem. There has been a few around lately but I left them alone and they died. Today they came out more and more each time I cleaned them up no clue where they are coming from but I've surface sprayed everywhere and now there is another batch of dead ants around the shower, go figure I do not lke ants, they make me itch!!!

We've got ants in the bathroom too. They're coming or going from behind the power point near the sink and they're leaving bits of dirt or something all over the place. DH is a sparky and he said they're not going to cause our house to catch on fire, so I guess they're just preparing their ant houses for the coming wet season by moving to higher ground. It is annoying but I'd rather they live in the bathroom than hang out in my kettle like they normally do at this time of the year

Thanks everyone we've been up in Dallas since 2.30am (6am now) after a few hours of sleep so hopefully tomorrow we can work out the sleeping better lol I'd love to sleep for more then 3 hours!

We had Pizza Hut for dinner & we found the dough quite sweet & the cheese was different to what we have in Aus but it was soo yummy!!! Did not finish the 3 pizzas we got between 5 girls & no fridge to save it so but of a bummer, oh well.

Feeling better after a shower (what an adventure with the tap system our room has lol) and some sleep, not long till we can getting ready for some breakie & shopping

Shopping, oh I love shopping

Hope there are plenty of bargains to be had!!!

Started the day with IHOP, was just okay IMO, had a great day shopping at the Grapevine outlets, spent about $110 including $47 at the Disney outlet

We also had our first taste of Walmart. Oh my goodness!!! It had McDonalds inside it plus a bank, toilets and an optometrist. We could not believe the prices & they had great Disney tops for kids for $7.50 which fit us as they went to XXL (size 19) and L fit me (11-13 :O) and XL fit Bec (15-17). We'll be going back to explore properly then we tried Whataburger for dinner which was quite yummy & as we skipped lunch I only left some bun from a regular meal
