What with the Trump trial and all, I thought I'd clue you in to a criminal trial we had here in the UK a few years back.
The jury was in the court room listening to the evidence being presented when a witness stood up and started speaking in German! The Judge was about to adjourn proceedings until a translator could be found, but suddenly a member in the audience stood up and declared, "I can translate!"
He approached the bench and was asked to enquire as to the German gentleman's name.
He stood up with confidence and shouted, "VOT IS UR NAME?!"
