The (original) Resort has many pools, most with a fountain, waterfall or other nice feature. One of them has a short, steep, zippy slide. The super pool also has a water volleyball net. There are numerous scheduled activities (crafts, make-your-own sundaes and other gatherings) in various parts of the resort every day, besides playgrounds, basketball, volleyball, mini-golf, shuffleboard, etc.
The Villages is newer and smaller. I haven't been there. Have read that they do offer a few activities as well. Hope this helps.
