What do to in bad weather

I'm making a list of things we can do if faced with a really, really rainy day when we visit DLR and San Diego in early December. I have plenty of ideas for San Diego, but what about things in the Anaheim area? We will have a rental car, so could drive a bit. DD is 6. Thanks!

The Discovery Science Center is a nice kids-level science museum, and is only about 5 miles away from DLR.
