What Quality of Disablities equipment really matters?

There are various Certification for Quality checks of any equipment so does it really matters?

Can you give some specific examples of the certifications and the types of equipment you are referring to?

Generally speaking in the US, if a consumer purchases equipment themselves directly, it is incumbent upon the consumer to do their own research regarding quality, longevity of equipment, comfort, etc.

If the equipment is “prescribed” by the physician, often it will come with either a direct relationship to a vendor (usually for braces and/or prosthetic devices) or with a direct recommendation within the “prescription” itself. In this way, the patient’s insurance is most likely to help pay for the item. “Prescribed” items can range from a simple wrist brace through multi-thousand dollar motorized chairs, and even home “improvements” like ramps, handlebars, wider doorways, etc.

But there is no central “certification” for quality (or any other metric) any of these items, at least in the US.
