Well I did not get the best of news just now. My sugar level was slightly high in the glucose test yesterday so now I have to take a Glucose test for 3 hours :scared1: !! I am totally scared because I did not go through this with DS. Well I am going to relax on the sofa. I will talk to you all later!!

Sorry to hear that! Let us know what you find out!

I thought for sure I would test positive with my first pregnancy because I got SOOoooo BIG!!!:rotfl: But I didn't!!

Pat-
Maybe if you can't go this year you can go on the 2009? That's the one we're booked on!

Hello all:wave2:

Went with DS and friend to the fair (happy it only comes once a year):lmao:

Okie We are going to be at Disney Feb 8th weekend. Is that the same time you are going?:confused3

I think you all should move to south Fl. it is already 75 today!!!!!:cool1:

Have a good day nanas

Oh Terri...we fly home on Feb 8th  Looked at the 10 day weather report in Orlando for Tuesday the day we get there and it is supposed to be 81 degrees :woohoo:  It is 48 here today and I feel like it is a heat wave

Did okies Mom get home?

She sure did...on Tuesday...she is the best she has been in 2-3 years-mind is clear, walking better, her spirits are high....heck who knows, if she stays this well I will try to get her and my step father to come with us in November...may be a big stretch, but I can dream.....may take her out on the Spirit of Philadelphia for lunch when it gets warmer:love:

We might sell it. Just depends on how things go. Hopefully not, because I love our camper!:goodvibes But if we do sell it we'll just get another one eventually.

Mel, we are going to sell our camper too...kids used to LOVE camping...but now, with Joshua getting ready for college and Chelsea growing up so fast too...it is a little different now when we go....plus...both kids will be working in the summer...Rick with a new job...need to save all the vacation time for November vacations :woohoo:

We will be in Orlando from Tuesday till Friday....no itinerary made yet except for KSC on Thursday to see the shuttle take off...Rick is sooooo excited!!

Wanted to take Rick to see the Blue Man group at Universal on Wed night but as luck would have it, they are not performing that night:confused3

Well, off to see mom...will check back later.....

Lynn - hope this eases your mind a bit. Our daughter had to go through the same thing. Her first test came back with a higher sugar level count. She said that they took her blood first, she drank the sugar drink (don't drink the lemon lime- drink the orange if it's offered to you) and then waited an hour, took blood again. She had to sit one more hour and they took blood again and had to wait another hour and they took blood again. Then she got to leave. She brought a movie and a dvd player with her so she wouldn't be too bored. She thinks that the cause was the Baskin-Robbins chocolate peanut butter milkshakes that did it! She was drinking one every night! Boy she's like her mom!
I hope you can figure out what the heck I just typed!
Pat

Evening all:

Well we are getting some really nice snow again...they are predicting 8-12 inches.... I really hate this weather!!!
So our plan of attack for work tomorrow....(work in doctors office) brought home schedules and if need be will call patients and cancel appts. If 2 of the school districts are closed we will have a late start tomorrow:confused3 hey I think I may just stay home for the heck of it.....

Lynn: good luck on your next test...
Okie: glad your mom is doing good.
Pat::grouphug: for good luck so you can come along with us...sorry about your daughter...
Kathy: you better get busy scrapbooking...:)
Bob: hi...how are you doing these days?

and to the rest of the nanaheads out there....hello!!!!

Later all
Denise:banana:

Good evening nanas!

Well, I think my home is turning into an Igloo. My driveway was drifted in with 3 foot drifts this morning. I'll have to break out the snowmobiles in order to get around tomorrow. :scared1:

At least its not -26 below anymore! :worship:

Have a good night,

Greg

Good Morning, All!

Snow is predicted but hasn't started so far, thank goodness. Today is my last day of three days of various tests. So far, I've discovered I have carpel tunnel, and only about 50% lung function. I kinda dread today, lol. Should NEVER have gone for that physical!!!

Bruce is getting ready to go on his first ski trip since having the broken ankle. Can you say excited?!

Forgive me if I repeat myself - the memory isn't what it used to be.

Lynn, how did you make out with your yucky test?

Okie, so glad to hear your mom is doing better.

Denise - that was pretty smart to bring the list home - hope you have to use it!

Happy day, all!

Good morning all! Hope all is well with everyone. Not a lot going on here today other than the normal...work. Temperatures here today are going to be 64 to 68 and raining after lunch. Just wanted to drop in and say hi.

Thank you Pat for the info on the test!! I am just not looking forward to sitting there for 3 hours and all the needles!!! That is too funny because after I got the phone call from the Doctor I was trying to remember what I ate. Oh, Well we have to see the Friday what the results are of this test.
I just feel bad because DH took off to paint DD's room and I kinda messed things up with this test.

Thank you for asking about the test.. Well the Doctor called with the results yesterday and my sugar level was slightly leveled (by 2 points) so I have to sit for 3 hour test next Friday. No looking forward to that at all!! Good Luck with the rest of your test today!!

Kathy

Good Morning    ,
Well we are in for a wintery mix that is changing over to ice and then rain all day. Today since the weather is nasty I am going to finish painting the letters to princess: name and the butterfiles so it will be all ready to hang when DH is done painting. Tomorrow my friend Krista and her husband and kids are coming over to see the house and for dinner. Sunday DH is starting to paint princess:' room and the bedroom doors. What is everyone elses plans for the weekend?? Well talk to you all later!!

Let's Go Giants

Okie: Glad to hear Mom is doing good:thumbsup2 !!

Denise: I hope you get a day off with the bed weather!!

Linda: Hope Bruce has been on his 1st skiing trip!!

Good Morning Nanaheads!

Kathy, my printer has been making lines when I print pictures. It's probably the ends that are dirty :confused3 I'm going to have to look at it because they want over $40 to print all my pictures. I have the paper and book to put the November trip together but haven't got the pictures yet.

Okie, so glad to hear that your mother is rallying! Great news!

Pat, I sure hope you don't have to cancel the trip. November is quite a while away maybe everything will turn around by then. We can only hope!

Lynn, UGH :scared1: to tests! But if it keeps the baby and you healthy....

Greg, we haven't got 3 foot drifts but we have gotten and still are getting plenty of snow! Second school closing in one week! Alexis has her hair appt this morning but I'd have to dig out in order to go so I think I'll change it to another time.

Mel, How do you feel this morning?

Well, got to get sewing. Chat with everyone later! Dawn
