I seem to remember this group at the table next to ours - we were sat seated?? whatever with a family from Texas who traveled with an au pair. She was the sweetest thing. And a woman, her daughter and her mother. But I don't remember them eating with us every night. Better look at my pictures. Very nice that group. They were kinda right next to us.

But the group next to us on the other side - there was like...I don't even know...20 of them and they were a riot. Loud, obnoxious but ALOT of fun. Hhhm....wonder what they are all doing now?? Would be fun to see them again.

Our service was OK - it was our first cruise - what did we know. But this other group of experienced cruisers said our service was slow and not so good. ??

I do remember the head waiter/server dude did this most ANNOYING whistle. By the end I was ready to throw something at him every time he whistled. DH had to keep moving things away from me at the table; rolls, sugar, ice, spoons, etc.

Then DH taught himself how to do it. But I just punch him.

TRM: Louis had a tendency to bring what he thought you should have. He was convinced I should have blue cheese or mustard. Both NO NOs on my list. I mean, how many times do you have to say,' I DO NOT LIKE MUSTARD!" or "I WILL NOT EAT BLUE CHEESE!" I mean, come on! I can 2 desserts for what one blue cheese salad costs me!!!

Long time no post.
Things are getting back to normal here and I am finally able to see my way out of the forest again (busy time.)

Cheri, a very happy birthday to you.

I wanted to thank everyone for the well wishes for Steve. It was a very scary time for us all, but thank GOD he is okay and has no permanent damage.
He has quit smoking YAY but the drinking...well I don't foresee any changes in that anytime soon.

How has everyone been?

I haven't had a chance to read though all of this yet, but yes, have most of the Peeps linked up together for dining. That should be one heck of a table (poor servers!)

I'll have to catch up on the pages and pages and pages of posts since I was last here reading.

Good to hear that Steve is doing better Sue Ellen! I was wondering about him yesterday since we hadn't heard from you!

I had some WEIRD dreams last night. Really BIG house sized camels walking around outside! And Star Wars robot like machines were tearing up my lawn (they were also BIG house sized things)! What was all that about?!

We have freezing rain this morning so school is on a 2 hr. delayed opening But DH had to be in Chevy Chase at 5:00 so the first alarms went off at 4:00. Sucks to be up at 4:00 and can't go to work until 9:00! Everything is glistening outside right now... It is supposed to warm up tho soon so that it will just be rain.

Receptionist is out again today at work...am splitting the coverage today with my co-worker - but she does the month end close so she's doing the am shift & then I have to sit out there all afternoon. It's good she's doing the am since I will be in late but I would much rather split it into like 2 hrs. on / 2 hrs. off shifts.

Humm. Guess I've been up long enough I should go shower...

Tomorrow is work, basketball and Colt's kids birthday party (will this birthday ever end???). We are doing it at the bowling alley. Then Sunday will be working during the day and I dont think I need to tell you about Sunday evening!

Me!! Me!! I am ready to go on a cruise!!

This weekend - Catch up on some sleep. Maybe finish a project or two or three or four. Neil will be back late, late tonight so I figure tomorrow is his breathing treatment day and I can have a break. Well that is my plan anyways! Sunday - Super Bowl party with friends. Though I must admit, despite being a hoooge football fan, I don't really care one hoot about this game.

Annie - is it just me or is that receptionist gone alot? Boy if I knew the phone # I would call and harrass you. I will hope it is a slow phone day since the weather is bad and everyone back there is home keeping warm just hanging out.

OK have to get Ryan off to school. Will check in with you all later.

I'll bet you guys would just love to call & order some Steelcase office furniture now wouldn't ya!? My "shift" just started...it is POURING down rain now...I am feeling very sleepy from my 4 1/2 hours of sleep! The rain on the canopy sounds like rain on a tin roof! Zzzzzzzz LOL about our receptionist - she is 65 and has been here for at LEAST 20 years - so she accrues about like 30 days off / year... Today, she is taking care of her mother who is 90. I suppose if I accrued 30 days of leave / year it would SEEM like I was never in too! We get a temp when she's off for more than 1 day at a time. But they're not worth the time involved to train for just a day here & there!

OK, so this weekend...hummm...might probably stop at Target on the way home this evening...having withdraws since the big Xmas shopping binge has passed! (Oh, and I need some Tide & Downey to support my weekend laundry hobby & some kitty litter for DS's brothers & some paper plates & paper towels to aid in the avoidance of emptying the dishwasher etc.) May also go back to the ski store...been dwelling on the helmet / cootie idea all week...

OK, now. Sunday..."the game". Neighbors who we don't hang out with quite so much as some of the others are hosting this years party... I asked her what I could bring (I am still thinkin' about those little hot dogs) and she says "Oh nothing - just bring yourselves". I asked the husband at the sock hop what I could bring and HE says "nothing - I think she's got it under control". OK so what do I take?! Can't go without SOMETHING, right? But what? A plant? Bottle of wine? They told everyone to bring their bathing suits in case people decided to hot tub (which I sorta doubt we will) but they were joking about "no banana hammocks" - I don't even know where to buy them but I suppose I could be ornery & take something along those lines... I don't know. Help!

We managed to squeeze LOT in last nite too. I am having trouble figuring out when & where they are with all the jumping around... What's up with Charlie? Dead, but cleaned up & haunting Hurley? Who is "they" need you? The Island? I don't like Jack with a beard & he's gonna annoy me with his new found pissy druggy depressed attitude... And OK, who was in the coffin at that funeral from the end of last season? DH was trying to freeze the TIVO and get right up to his 60" screen to read the newspaper article from the recap show. I'm like forget it - they don't WANT you to read that! He thought the name started with a 'J' tho. So. Jin, James or John?

(But it was good to see again!)
