I feel your large family vacation planning pain.
My husband and I created a "yours, mine, and ours, family" We have 9 kids...yes I said 9 -ranging in age from 29-3.
Yet (without the DVC) we have been able to take 8 kids (before the last was born) to Disneyland 4 years ago and then 6 of the nine (now encluding the youngest) last fall.
BTW: We live two hours north of Seattle near the BC border.

You need to write a book - seriously. I knew a true blended family in Hawaii 1960. She had kids he had kids they haD one or two kids. Talk about love,dude!! Ahhhmazing. I want to know more about your bunch. DaV-oDD

Yep- us too...I had three kids DH had four and we have two together. It is indeed a busy household.

I just noticed you are in Bremerton...I'm in B'Ham... Moved here from San Diego in 1991.
 
Calliaz and Mrs. Fleagle (and anyone else)

We just bought DVC last year and I can tell you it was one of the best things we've done. Between last year's 2BR at BCV, 1BR at AKV, this year's 1BR at BCV and those extra things like discount on annual passes, food savings, W/D savings, etc, we have already made up 30% of the initial cost (that's 30% in one year!) Another 2-3 more years, and it will have practically paid for itself!

I can send you (or post here if anyone is really interested) my little "Are you a candidate for DVC?" list.
