Oh, and it's good to know there are specials all the time. I figured they did, but he said he'd give us credit for this last trip we took in January. I told him we always saw people at the DVC kiosks but the ONE time Eric went to talk to someone they weren't there. So, I wasn't sure if they always gave you some credit for your most recent trip or if he was just being nice? Anyway.....things are looking up. Hey, maybe that package was good luck after all!

Oooo... we can combine points, book a Grand Villa and invite everyone from the Dis to bring a sleeping bag. Ann can keep us all in line too.

I have always wanted to go to Washington and Oregon and drive down the coast into California. My wife tried to book a trip for my birthday one year and the travel agent wouldn't book it. She said, "Why would you want to go there? It rains all the time." She obviously didn't want our business. I'll get out there one of these days. Maybe when the girls are in college. Something else I have wanted to do is RV it across the country, zig zagging to see all the sites, while taking our time and enjoying the ride. I have been wanting to do that since my senior year of high school.

Tripp - congrats on cmo3 - you show up in Washington I'll be your official escort then we'll travel together to Orey-Gone and Callypony!

If I'm wrong the pirate will shoot me...but back when we were discussing a "rapid voting technique" for the top 10, someone mentioned that if your operating system was opera browser that you could do a series of shortcut keystrokes and vote many many times a minute. Wasn't able to do that however with my system. Lucky if I could get 3 in a minute. The pirate has magical fingers though getting 30ish as I recall.

That was when I questioned the integrity of that method and the pirate thought I was saying he was cheating. Remember that? Maybe you were at Disney?
Anyway....the Pirate was NOT cheating, however finding shortcuts or loopholes in the voting process may or may not have benefitted some? N'er ye mind tho, you're in baby!

(disclaimer: I am not a computer savy person so everything I may have just said was somewhat skewed....maybe like the voting process itself?)

We just bought DVC last year and I can tell you it was one of the best things we've done. Between last year's 2BR at BCV, 1BR at AKV, this year's 1BR at BCV and those extra things like discount on annual passes, food savings, W/D savings, etc, we have already made up 30% of the initial cost (that's 30% in one year!) Another 2-3 more years, and it will have practically paid for itself!

Ok kids! It's time for a Quiz!

Seriously, got to the airport, and even though my flight to Dallas would have been okay, the flight to Orlando was cancelled cuz of the inspections. If I flew to Dallas tonight, I wouldn't get to Orlando until noon tomorrow.

So they booked me on a Continental Flight leaving here at 5:35am tomorrow, arriving in Orlando at 10:55am.

I just spent an hour on the phone with Travelocity, and they managed to get Disney to not charge me for the hotel tonight!

So in the long run, I'll only lose a few hours, but save some bucks.

And Bailey, my cat is so happy I'm home!
