Friday 6/4:
Disney's Hollywood Studios

Meetup: 9pm at Victoria Falls at DAKL, followed by Atlantic Dance Hall/Typhoon Lagoon

Saturday 6/5:
Magic Kingdom

Meetup: 4pm at Aloha Isle Snack Company for Dole Whips!

Rix Lounge at 9pm

Sunday 6/6
Epcot

Meetup: Noon GST (1pm for straight people) at Mexico for Drink-Around-The-World

Friday sounds perfect! Turkygurl and I, plus her brother, AKL Ranger, and a few others are eating Boma around 815. So we'll meet everyone upstairs when we're done and head to ADC.

I have an idea for Saturday: since we got skunked on the parade route last year, lets find out from a family-freindly CM where the 3pm parade begins so we can follow the end. The 2008 sea of thousands of red shirts was awe-inspiring If it begins at the front (which it has been for awhile) we could all meet at the hub at 245.

On Sunday...high noon is high noon...... Inside Mexico in the new Tequila Bar!!

I have an idea for Saturday: since we got skunked on the parade route last year, lets find out from a family-freindly CM where the 3pm parade begins so we can follow the end. The 2008 sea of thousands of red shirts was awe-inspiring If it begins at the front (which it has been for awhile) we could all meet at the hub at 245.

I'm trying to figure out where the best parade viewing would be so we can make it through the crowd to get to the Dole Whip meet by 4:00. I'm guessing either Frontierland or the hub near the Adventurland entrance would be best.

I think if the parade begins at 3pm at the entrance hub and we follow it to its exit between adventureland and frontierland (before the bridge to Splash Mountain), that puts us at about a 5 minute walk from the dole whip stand. Of course, if we all do the GayDayMarch, if we're 5 or 10 minutes past 4pm it wont matter since we'll be together anyway.

I thought the 3 PM parade started at the gate beside Splash? When we were parade marshals that's where it started. Spectro usually starts at the gate beside the fire station. But, now that I think about it, I think the 3 PM parade was going the other way last year. We were standing outside Pecos Bill's and it was coming towards Splash.

We usually watch from Frontierland by default, because Main St. is so flippin' crowded!

They have had it "reversed" lately (including GD 2009). From what I've heard, is that on a normal day, regular guests would watch the 3pm parade, then follow it out of the park. Having it exit near the reverse of the park would hopefully keep guests in so they can spend more $$$ (in theory).

That's pretty funny! The logic of these things boggles me.

We are rope drop people, so 3 PM is almost ALWAYS naptime for us. I can't even remember why we were in MK last year when the parade was going the other direction. Maybe we got a late start?

I'm not sure if DH will be able to make it through the Dole Whip meet or not. He may bail on us before the parade. His normal schedule is so squirrelly it takes him awhile to get adjusted at WDW. Maybe if I send him for a nap fairly early he will come back for a Dole Whip.

I was thinking the same thing about asking a CM which direction the parade is going this year. Although I think to get any decent spot we'll have to get together earlier than 2:45.

Ohhhhh, I forgot about MSEP coming back. I'm really going to miss SpectroMagic. But it'll be nice to see MSEP again.

They are calling Saturday night the "Passholder preview". The preview for Passholders and anybody else who happens to be in the park!

We'll probably be around MK Saturday PM. We purposely didn't make an ADR for dinner.

We are at the airport now!!! Two days in Celebration and then we head to the GF on Wed.

We have dessert party rezzies Sat night for what was Wishes and now is Summer Nightastic Polysyllabic Fireworks Show Name. After the 4:00 pm meetup we plan to head back to the GF for a rest and some dinner but be back in the MK that night until they kick us out. But since they close early that night - 11:00 I think - we don't know exactly what we'll do after. But we're open to suggestions.
