Krisann
Krisann, I think I goofed  when I signed up - I need 3 medium wristbands. Thanks for doing this.

Sandra
I fixed it :)

I have been looking over the spread sheet I did up on Google for people to fill in - one of the things I added was how many nights on Disney/how many cruises = so far 27 people have answered and it is a total of

994 nights!

119 cruises!

now that includes this cruise. That is a lot of nights just a few of us have spent on a Disney Ship!

Keep adding info!

https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc...GZ1dElOLS1KRF9GWDhwWkE&hl=en&authkey=CJmPqOcK

and please use this for your wristbands now - I am removing the other one so we do not get confused.

I've never done the food and wine festival. I'm really looking forward to it.
What I like about the Food & Wine festival is there are dozens of food booths from different countries, all serving small portions. So you can order different dishes to try without the commitment of ordering a full entree at a restaurant.

It's a great way to discover new and different dishes that you may have seen on restaurant menus.

Order a few plates to make a meal -- just like tapas.

For those spending a few days in Barcelona prior to the cruise, the Tourist Office of Spain will send you tourist information. Their e-mail address is: newyork.information@tourspain.es, web address: www.okspain.org.

We are lucky now to have to get a Visa did those of you coming from Australia have a problem with this?

Val
Thank you Val :flower3:

I live about 2 hours from NYC but did not want to make the trip to the city - I will email them for a city map and hoho bus info.

I thought that was a great website. I was not sure what you meant about a Visa???

Not to scare Lyn (lyn9856 that is) but it was getting close to us having to cancel the plans. The problem was finding someone to house/dog/cat/and fish sit for 5 weeks. But, things have worked out. We are still coming:cool1:

Jon

Glad everything worked out and you can still sail with us!!!

I shouldn't have capitalized it but I have read that Australian visitors need a visa but no visas are required for U.S. visitors to Spain. My brother-in-law is a teacher in Chengdu, China. Yesterday he sent us an e-mail from Hong Kong, where he had to travel to to get his US visa renewed. This made me start thinking about if we needed a visa.

I am now an offical champagne gal. I got my cheap $2.99 tiara. Very pretty. made of cheap plastic pink and clear beads. I pink fluffy head band and a few pink ribbons too it :lmao: Got my pink shirt now to find the pink boa. The hunt is on:).

John has a visa for China as he will travel there on business. Just wanted to check if something has recently changed for USA citizens. One never knows how quickly the political climate of a country can change.

Just my thoughts....

Of course! we're practically neighbours!!!

Germany, New Zealand, United Kingdom, USA, Australia, Netherlands....

No Canadians???

SW

There are a few of us Canadians. But, historically we watch from a distance until we need to step in to keep the peace:goodvibes unless someone brings out the Tim Hortons coffee then watch out, you'll be swarmed.:lmao:

ATTENTION ALL DANIEL TAXI MADEIRA TOUR MEMBERS

I still have not heard either by email or PM from the following tour members. Since we are up to 78 persons on the tour, it is important to finalize van travel arrangements. I am also going to send a PM to the people on the list as well.

If you are interested in the tour and have not PM'd or emailed me, NOW is the time. I would like to finalize this tour soon.

In your PM, I need to know if you are still going, if you need any car seats or booster seats for children traveling with you, any preferences with whom you would like to travel in the van and if you are tasting at Old Blandy's Wine Lodge.

If you have any questions on concerns, please do not hesitate to email or PM me.

Sorry I will miss you. I am coming up to see my brother and go to the Dansville Hotair Ballon festival.

That sounds fun. We've never been to the hot air balloon festival even though we've lived here in Rochester for about 15 years each (almost 8 of that together!!). It's definitely something we should add to our "to do" list.
(Although we did ride the balloon at DTD last year.....which was not the same, of course, but was still an enjoyable experience)

Welcome! I re-newed my vows at Castaway Cay and My Dsis is doing hers on board the ship for this cruise. If you have any questions we will be happy to answer them. All I can tell you is that the wedding was better than my first and it was awesome as was the cake and all that DCL did for us on the cruise. I highly recommend it!

Yeah, Jason and I have always toyed with the idea of doing our commitment ceremony/wedding on the ship or on Castaway, too....but it's really expensive, I've heard it's hard to get dates for it....AND most of our family and friends would probably not be able and/or will to pay for the cruise to be able to attend/participate-----plus, of course, as I've mentioned before...we're still waiting for our stupid state to make us legal!!:lmao:

Yeah I forgot to post that Jason's coworker decided she is willing to stay at our place to watch our cat, house, garden, cars and fish while we're gone...so that was a relief!

Krisann

I entered our data to the sheet. Thanks :)

Thanks! Luckily we were able to get a 100% refund on our BA flight in the end as I had never confirmed the flight change and had my tickets reissued! I didn't actually realise that I was meant to but when I phoned to query getting a refund they informed me I was meant to last year. Lucky I didn't turn up at the airport expecting to get on that flight as they would not have let us!

Thats a relief ... you got your BA flight cancelled with no charges ... RESULT !!

I agree. The EPCOT Food & Wine festival is a terrific way to sample delicious foods from different countries.

Woody

We were there in 2008 and had a wander round but we had just eaten in
ESPN so I didn't have room for any of the nibbles. I am still torn between Epcot and Magic Kingdom for our one night there but I will have to decide soon to order the tickets.

Not to scare Lyn (lyn9856 that is) but it was getting close to us having to cancel the plans. The problem was finding someone to house/dog/cat/and fish sit for 5 weeks. But, things have worked out. We are still coming:cool1:

Hope everyone has been well and there haven't been to many posts about bad things happening. Doing a quick scan of this page I saw mention of old topics that keep coming around. Eye patches:scared1:, "un-mentionables", and few others. Oh, what a group this is. The ship will never be the same when we depart on Oct 2.

Not much longer,
Jon

So pleased you managed to find a pet-sitter and are still with us :thumbsup2

I love these spreadsheets .... I am going to do a clothing one for each day .. just to make sure I have enough stuff :rotfl2:

In work today I was given my next rota and I was so excited as it actually went up to 10th September, the week before we cruise :woohoo: and I only have 2 night shifts to do before then which is wonderful news. :)
