From WDW to DL With Love - January 06, 2011 part 4

Morning everyone! Found out this morning that I earned A's in both of my classes this semester. This is a HUGE relief as my professor ripped the first half of my thesis to shreds. She thankfully allowed me to rewrite it. My traditional treat to myself is a new pair of shoes when I get a 4.0 for a semester. (The last two semesters I didn't). I really want a pair of sparkly silver shoes... what do y'all think of these:

What I noticed is that they're Stuart Weitzman's, so I'd say a 4.0 definitely is worthy of those!!!! Congrats!

Congrats on the A's! You worked hard and you deserve it! I LOVE it when a professor turns out to be an actual teacher at heart! The whole point of education is real learning, and we learn so much more from our mistakes, don't we? I used to teach composition to junior high students and they had to rewrite pretty much every paper they ever turned in. I always felt that THAT was where the real learning took place! But it's so much easier to just rip a paper to shreds and give a lousy grade than read a rewrite that most teachers don't bother (or have the time) to do it.

Now go buy those shoes! You've earned them!

We are heading out to Disneyland for DH Holiday party. Only supposed to be 55 or so while we are there tonight so it's much better then last year when it was 38 while we were there.

Please do. Where what colour you like when you like. I know it is a custom in some areas over there, but it is a rather odd one to be sure. White is lovely in winter, and is a very natural colour at this time of year after all.

I have a theory that the white rule started when people were getting run over by cars and such because they blended in with the scenery.

CONGRATS on your A's! I love the shoes and I love BLING. I found a pair (just regular pumps) that look quite similar. I made two Mickey head from red rhinestones and glued them on the fronts. We will have to get a picture of our feet together.

Nothing really to report. No docs here. No DME tags. No snow. Working on door magnets though Brooklyn has made some of those easy to finish!

D&B is definitely sold onboard. They have their own exclusive DCL pattern and they also carry several of the Disney patterns as well, pretty much everything that you can get in the park.
