I just set up transportation with Ed Korgan Travel for our upcoming trip. He was such a nice guy to talk to on the phone. Thanks for the recommendation!Getting around...
We have used Ed Korgan Travel for 4 trips to Universal (to and from MCO) and also between Universal and Disney. It is around $45 for each of those legs (MCO to or from US) and $45 between Disney and US. We have never done a grocery stop but it has been offered to us. I have heard mostly good reviews about Tiffany Town Car.
Me and my monkeys used UBER quite a bit on recent adventure. We all kept referring each other and got free rides. I will be referring my husband for an upcoming trip to Washington DC. All of our rides were great, except for one. But we survived it (barely). You'll have to read all about that...
Wow, I can imagine how upsetting that is losing a brand new I phone. Would be AWESOME if someone would be kind enough to return it to airport security and in turn contact you. Hopefully, you called the airport rental car company and airport security just in case an "angel" returns it. LET'S HOPE! Have a MAGICAL TRIP and hope that your sister can get re-hired soon at an even better position! We are here now. Saw Teena this afternoon! BC has been great. We are on the EPCOT side on the first floor. Not loving the first floor, but the room is nice.
We had a rough start to our trip, though. Got some bad news from a family member. Older sister lost her job on Friday. Boo! Then my sweet 13 year old (the nutty professor) lost her new iPhone somewhere between the plane and rental car. She was distraught, we are upset with her not being more careful and I feel like a moron for not getting the insurance on it. It's disabled and reported lost/stolen, so it's useless to anyone. Not the way to start a trip.
Anyway, we are having a fun time. More later!
Hi, We were there the weekend of Sept. 13th and no more character towels I wish they would at least do the welcome Mickey one..Luckily, we got our fix on the Cruise! Hope they never get rid of it there! The threads are suggesting that towel characters are going away at all Disney properties? Any truth to this at Beach or Yacht club?
Is anybody on site to report current findings? I would be very sad if the removal of towel characters is true... This was a part of the magic we enjoyed at the deluxe resorts.

Jellyrolls is loads of fun! There is a cover charge of $12 per person, everyday of the week. To guarantee a table, I recommend arriving no later than 9pm (8:30pm to be safe). If you don't mind not having a table, this is a non-issue. We absolutely love going and try to go at least once every trip. The guys are amazingly talented and loads of fun. Free popcorn too!Getting to that place where I am SO excited about our trip getting closer, but simultaneously starting to panic because the closer it gets, the closer it is to being over haha. Hope everyone who is there now is having a wonderful time!
Wanted to come ask the YC/BC experts this question before posting it elsewhere (yall are always so knowledgeable and helpful). Does Jellyrolls have a cover charge? If so, is it only on certain nights (e.g., weekends), and how much? We might pop in for a drink or two on a Thursday evening but wasn't sure what to expect. Thanks in advance for any insight yall have!
No. The decision to stop them happened several months ago. I think everyone has come to terms with it by now. They was never any talk about trying to get them backSo sad - bringing our nieces for their first trip and they remarked about past pictures. I hate that a tradition of fun (magic) has been retired. Any talk of a campaign to bring towel characters back?
I have a question about bell service, we will be arriving late Thursday night so we are electing to have bell services hold our bags from ME we are packing our carry on with next day things so we don't rely on getting our checked bags, but I was thinking if was up early enough asking bell services to bring us our bags in the am. My question is how long does it usually take for them to bring them to you?
Bump... I'd like to know this, also....anyone?
