Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Also here's the posted dinner menu. We had the mealie dogs, aka mini corn dogs in addition to everything else on the Sunday menu. The lounge was VERY crowded tonight, I've never seen so many people before and it was a constant flow. And please tell me who thinks it's okay to take a whole thing of goat cheese....the whole giant hunk?! Yes, this happened.

When we were there Thanksgiving week, we witnessed a couple that consistently took large quantities of food back to their room the entire week. Just like what you witnessed, the whole item. o_O No way that couple was eating the amount of food they took, in addition to what they ate in the lounge. We thought maybe they were feeding other people, or storing it in a cooler to take back home. Oh well, I’m glad the CM’s were able to replenish for the rest of us...and no I don’t think it’s okay for people to be so insensitive of others.

The lounge was extremely crowded for us one night too. We enjoyed trying all the different flavor profiles and the specialty drinks. We loved our stay there. That resort is wonderful. Enjoy your stay.

I can't imagine! I feel I must say after my last post, when my husband grabs a couple of muffins for coffee on the balcony, it is just a couple of muffins and not the whole tray! I promise! :rotfl:

Our last trip in April, there were several times the lounge was really crowded, but I think it was due to the Dark Side Half Marathon - there was a huge group so when they were all there, it was packed!

 A couple of muffins is nothing, heck taking back small plates of the food to the room is normal. But, taking back the entire plate of food or entire cheese board well...:confused3

Oh, how I would love to be hoarding an entire charcuterie board (complete with goat cheese) on my balcony at AKL right now, sipping on champagne, to ring in the New Year!

Mimosas you're allowed to take the whole pitcher!

Back at the lounge now. We are not brave enough to do the parks today. We just resort hopped for a bit. We rang in the African new year already...that was fun. They're setting up the DJ in the lobby and word on the street is that "friends" will appear! The chef made dishes were different tonight from the menu, maybe a new years eve thing? We had seared scallops and something with lamb, I don't eat lamb so I didn't give that one a second look.

I'm not spotting any Coke Zero in the fridge. Do you know if they'd just run out? They definitely had it the last time we stayed there but that was about 18 months ago.

ps Love the rum cake story!

No coke zero...I asked two different CMs. They went frantic and kept telling me where I should be able to get it and kept apologizing....I had to keep saying, it's not for me, I don't actually want it...it's a long story!:teeth:

Also in the name of research, I tried both mimosas and I did not care for the Kilimanjaro one...still drank it though. The thing is this...I hate POG/jungle juice. Its just way too sweet for me. So if you like that juice then I would imagine that you would like the Kilimanjaro one.

That sounds so fun - hope you have a great time! It would be cool to watch the DJ party from the lounge!

I’m only kidding about that though, I’d take the whole cart and as many Mickey Waffles I could fit as well.....

:confused3 What, I walk 10 miles a day when I’m here or more!!!!!

:rockband: :D

Agree! I think you could fit a lot of Mickey Waffles on that cart!

Thank you for asking! :)

NYE setup at the Poly. Reserved CL viewing area.

View from lounge. Last year they had champagne and hot chocolate being served on those tables, assume similar this year.

Update on the reserved Poly CL area from last night, very well managed and a wonderful amenity. They served champagne and apple cider for a midnight toast, nothing before the show. But it’s a quick walk up to the lounge for a beverage if needed. They keep the lounge open until midnight on 12/31 (not on 12/30 though) with the normal drinks and evening dessert service.

I have a Garden View room this trip so having this spot was great.

View from fourth or fifth row of chairs.
