This is Disneyland, not Disney World (haven’t been to WDW since 2016. I’d like to change that soon) but this picture was taken the day before Rise of the Resistance opened. We were at California Adventure that day and the lines for everything were 5-15 minutes all day except for a couple rides. That day I went on Incredicoaster 11 times and it didn’t break down a single time (it always breaks down when we go)! One of the best Disney days ever!!!
This was my kids' first visit to WDW. My daughter was two and a half and my son was seven. Everything was so magical for them and us too! We had so much fun strolling through Minnie's house. I wish it was still there.
Do these photos make y'all happy or sad? I feel both. I lovelovelove them, but I'm here crying looking at all the joy and love - wondering what's going to happen in the next weeks/months. Our trip is May 10 -17 2020.
I love this thread. It's so nice to just remember the good times at our family's favorite place. It really lifts a little bit of the anxiety we are all feeling these days. It has inspired me to go way back in our family photos and reminiscence...
Here we are way back in 1996.... my sweet Aunt Pearl is no longer with us and my mom is pushing 90 but still
going strong. My little cousin is now married and expecting his first little one this summer... So happy to have
these memories.
When my son was in chemotherapy he was too sick for travel so we were sent on a staycation to fanfest/ comicon. It is one of my favorite memories. My son was beyond thrilled meeting a lot of the star wars peeps and over the moon to meet Tom Kenny. Just a few months later we went on our Wish trip to WDW /studios/ Give the kids the world. These are the days i will never forget all smiles
