We have Boostmobile and I am able to just pay the $20 and have it credit to the CC. You didn’t mention your provider.
I was able to prepay on Verizon a couple of days ago. I disabled autopay temporarily.
Do your kids use any streaming like Spotify?

Thanks! We have AT&T. They do have spotify - I'll check into that. One is still on the college plan and it's just $5 a month and the other is $10 I believe. That would get at least $15 back.

Got an offer in the mail for a citi rewards+ card. I had no citi cards previously. I’ve been denied for pretty much everything else so I thought why not and I was instantly approved! About time something goes my way lol. Dh and I need to get the driveway resealed.

Anything I need to know about citi?

Got a retention offer from Amex via chat on my Blue Business Cash - $100 immediately plus another $200 after $4k spend in 3 months (actually 92 days, which they specifically noted).

I know this is kind of unremarkable and well- known Amex is doing this, I just thought it was kind of interesting because I just opened this BBC card in September, 2 months ago.

Their website is horrible and they do not like large purchases. If you need to make one, use the app to let them know about the large purchase or they will decline payment.

Also, you may have trouble setting up the account via the web and may need to use the app.

I called Chase this afternoon to see if I could get the CSR valued customer discount but no such luck. Are there certain buzz words to use?

My AF posted 11/1. Called and asked for a retention offer. I've had my CSR since Oct 2016. And I do put most my spend on it outside categories.

Resealing the driveway will be a big purchase so thank you for telling me that. What’s the best use of their points

Mine also posted on 11/1. Was not planning on calling though since I was planning to cancel and try a MDD. I would think they would not be happy if I tried to get a statement credit and cancelled?

My Bonus was posted on statement ending 11/27/16 (plan on waiting until at least 12/1).
To prep myself for MDD do I need to move all UR on my Chase Reserve over to my Wife's Chase Reserve account?
How long before attempting do I need to product change my current Chase Reserve?
Should I spend the $300 credit as fast as possible (grocery store) before doing the product change?
Any other key steps I am missing?

Isn’t that a no fee card? I think that’s what I have. Wondering if I should give that a try.

How long before attempting do I need to product change my current Chase Reserve? Recommendation on Reddit is 5 days before you apply.
Should I spend the $300 credit as fast as possible (grocery store) before doing the product change? YES
Any other key steps I am missing? Apply for the one you really want first, the day after it is approved apply for the second card and make sure it is approved on that day.

How big of a charge? I paid 1800 online for our treadmill to finish the spend with no issue. Also used it to pay my mortgage with plastiq but that was only 400.

I haven't had issue with their site either other than it's not as friendly as chase or amex.

Transfer them to VS and use on Ana. They have other transfer partners which I think is generally what you see the churning com do. But you'd have to look and see who else.

@Haley R The only airline transfer partner with the Rewards+ is JetBlue (at a rate of 1000 to 800). If you eventually get a Citi Premier or Prestige, you can combine the points and transfer to many more partners. But you can't get the SUB on those until 24 months after your Rewards+ SUB posts.
