ANNUAL PASSES ARE BACK!!!

This is great news! So considering I have tickets purchased already for our trip next month does anyone know if I can apply the value of my very expensive single day tickets to the price of an AP?

Amazing! How do we buy on the 13th? On the website like everyone else on the 20th?
The email sounds like DVC members will be able to buy it on the website beginning April 13th. They're giving us a one week advantage. Actually I think that's a good idea. For one it will give them a really clear picture of how many DVC members buy annual passes. Second, there's some writing in there that this is subject to availability. The last thing we want to do is compete with every Tom Dick and Harry for an annual pass.

I'm so glad they're doing that. I don't want to be near the website on April 20 haha Phew. I'm so relieved!!!

Is this timing designed to be just after spring break weeks end so folks can't apply those visits' tickets' value towards the AP purchase? (Is/was that still a thing?)

Very true. Unfortunately I have a family member that no longer lives at home so will not qualify for the household discount. He's going to have to deal with that mess on the 20th.

Yes this is a little bit of a side subject but One of the annoying problems you run into with family DVC contracts is when the children grow up and move out. But they all still love Disney and want to go with you on every trip.

Ok, so question... I didn't get the email but will DVC-N members be eligible for the Sorcerer pass on 4/20? Or is Sorcerer only available to DVC-Y at any time?

Question I need help with. I need to buy the annual passes as I have been without since buying dvc and I have a couple of single day tickets attached to my account.

i am going to wdw in June and want to ONLY use my single day tickets. I will go again in November and in November activate and start using my annual pass.

The question I need help with please

how do I make sure in June my annual passes are not activated and I use only my single day tickets?

thank you

You know this makes me wonder how the website's going to work to verify eligibility. Is it just the people on your contract or everybody in your household? And how do we verify that online? In person they look at your driver's license or a photo ID. I'm just wondering.

FYI I'm asking for others in my family. I already have an AP. I bought it in August 2021 when they briefly resumed sales. Been renewing it ever since.

I think the only people eligible will be under 18 and people on your official contract/deed.

Buying them as long as they are still inactivated vouchers. Like.... as many as I possibly can!!!

My DD is in DCP and will be applying for FT/PT CM, so her tickets saved us during this AP-less season. lol But I don't want to ever be "empty handed" again. It was way too stressful and we did sit-out a few days that we would have definitely gone into parks if we'd had an AP.

My family made a total of 7 trips last year (not all of us every time ). I'm a Boardwalk/Epcot girlie. I walk over to Epcot just to pick up a snack.

We’ve received a lot of Member feedback about one topic in particular: Annual Passes. We’ve been listening and understand that for many Members, Annual Passes enhance their Disney experience. Today I’m pleased to share great news with you: new sales of all Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes will resume on April 20.

That alone is good news. But we have even better news to share. Eligible Members* may purchase the DVC Disney Sorcerer Pass online starting April 13 – a full week before sales of all Annual Passes resume for all Guests. Passes or a pass type are subject to limited availability and may not be available at any given time. The DVC Disney Sorcerer Pass is expected to be on sale more often throughout the year, even when the pass is not broadly available for sale to Florida Residents.**

I know our Members have a strong connection to our company, and am glad more of you will now have the opportunity to be part of the Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder family.

For information on the DVC Disney Sorcerer Pass, including pricing and eligibility, please visit the Walt Disney World Annual Pass website.

Here’s to many more years of making wonderful memories!

From what I read in the official announcement, sounds like Sorcerer was just available for DVC-Y members. Maybe someone else saw a definite answer though.

I assume it will work the same way their site has always verified elligability.

That is you need to log in with your account that is linked to a DVC account.

n the past, I believe others in your household were eligible as long as they have the same physical address.

We will need the Incredipass since we have a trip booked between Christmas and NYE but don't really want to take a chance waiting to the 20th and then end up with no APs if they sell out before we are able to get ours. Does anyone know if I could buy the Sorcerer during the DVC window and then upgrade to Incredipass before we activate? Thoughts on how quickly they will sell out?

I have a trip starting on Apr 13th. 5 day hopper already linked to MDE. Will I be able to upgrade in person either before I first tap in on the 13th or sometime before the last night of my trip? Thanks!
