love the passport for Epcot....when we went on Megan's 11th bday trip to WDW I had made flags of each country out of scrapbook paper and had them write "happy birthday Megan" in their language's at the KidCot stations...maybe you could have them do something similar about her MAW trip in the passport!

Thank you to Blyssfull for the adorable tic-tac-toe game and wonderful bag of goodies. It was fun to open the goody bag I just tried the popping candy and it surprised me when they started making noise in my mouth. The Mickey themed tic-tac-toe game is so cute. It will be fun to play it while waiting for our flights.

You are more than welcome. I have so much fun picking out things and trying not to play with them before I put them in the bag. Hope you guys have a fantastic trip...looking forward to seeing pictures when you get back! Big hugs!

Thank you to Ahrizel for the wonderful Big Give package. The giraffe outfits you made me are beautiful. I love the different giraffe themed fabrics you used. I can't wait to wear them on the trip. I'm excited to now have so many pretty colors and patterns of duct tape. It's neat how it's on sheets. I'm amazed at how many different art supplies that you sent me. I'm looking forward to trying them all out. The DS case and art supply case are so cute. I love the giraffe fabric, giraffe patterned Mickey head, and cute little giraffe latch. The DS case fits the DS really well. The games look fun and I look forward to playing them. Thank you for the candy. I had seen that there were new M&M colors and now I get to see what they are.

When we got to the lab in town, we found out that clinic had only ordered a CBC, and they usually do a CMP too, so we had to call & fix it. They added a retic., and the lab tech had no idea what that was. She drew a 3rd vial for it, but clinic has never done that, so I don't think it was necessary. Took longer than usual to fill the vials. Can always tell that Angel's hurting during it. There was some miscommunication when the clinic nurse made the arrangements for the labwork, because they were supposed to be processed right away, and faxed to clinic. They weren't done yesterday at all. A different nurse called & made sure they would be processed first thing today.

Found out that ants search for either protein or sweet, and our bait traps were protein, and they weren't interested in them at all. Got a sweet bait trap, and it's been very popular. This should take care of the colony.

After getting back from having the labs done, I found out I needed to go back to town. Busy, busy day, and didn't finish my packing.

The DIS is about to go down for an hour for their daily maintenance, so I'll split it into 2 posts.

Thank you so much Sarah for making me the adorable Eeyore purse! It's so soft and comfortable to carry, and big enough to hold the accordion folder I bought to carry the massive amount of paperwork we need on this trip. The folder didn't fit in the purse I had, so I was very excited that this one was big enough.

Sorry that going to the lab didn't go smoothly for Angel. Hope you get the test results this morning. Glad you got the right ant bait so you can be rid of them and won't have to worry about an invasion while you are gone.

Lab results weren't what we were hoping for But part of it is very good

hgb 13.2 (was 13.6, but that was actually "high", so 13.2 is good )

platelets 95,000 (was 84,000) YAY

ANC 900 (was 3630) Big drop, and it would have been much easier on the trip if she were still in the normal range.

Next clinic appointment is Thurs. May 9

Sorry about the ANC drop. 900 is definitely doable though, armed with the expensive Lysol and collection o' sanitizers. (You *might* have put Bath & Bodyworks in my head, and I *might* have bought 15 new little sanitizers.....) Hurray for hgb and platelets, though! Ride all the rides!

We're heading off to our family camp, so this'll be the last time I'm on before you leave.

Sorry to hear lab draws were so frustrating... Glad to here she has good #'s! ANC of 900 isn't wonderful, but it isn't too bad either! I know they usually like my daughter's anc to be over 1000, but 900 is pretty close! Hopefully you guys have the best trip ever! Good luck and have a fantastic time!

Jo - about your 15 new sanitizers. Have a great time at family camp

Jessica - Angel's first Dr. used 1000 as his cut off for restrictions instead of 500. We're used to her hovering just below 1000, but had been so excited when she was in the normal range last month.
