We are planning our trip to WDW in June. Last trip I found a discount code for Budget car rental on these boards and saved a lot of money. I wondered if anyone knew of another one for any car rental company. Thanks for your help!

Hi, sdlovesdisney! I'm sure you'll find a lot of great car rental rates on the Budget Board, so I'm just going to transfer this topic there.

At Dollar (which is located right in the airport) you can try FVG and KISS. I just tried both of these this AM and they were working.
Good Luck! :)

Or take a chance and try Priceline - we booked a DISCOUNT vacation for Feb., so even though I was afraid of Priceline, I took a chance and got National for a fullsize car for $16 or $17 a day for two weeks. I'm a big bargain hunter and tried many sites and codes before trying to bid, was willing to go to $20 a day for full size but didn't have to. Started way early so I could try again each week and got it the third week I tried.

Just a thought - have seen much lower Priceline rentals for midsize or economy cars.

I just booked a rental at Dollar, thanks to BethR posting of the codes. Though not the best deal I ever got, I like to start out with a ressie and keep working towards a better one. I booked a compact car for $126.99 per week for October 2001 using the FVG code listed. I find the the Spring rates tend to be higher than other times of the year, so maybe a better deal will come along, if not this is OK too. I always choose either Dollar or National, since both are in the terminal and both are similar in rates. I'm not ready to do the Priceline thing yet. But if you need a decent rate now, Dollar seems to be the best bet.

Heres one BCD# X144500, heres another but its strictly for pickup and dropoff at Orlando Airport, its #U054944, but you have to reserve them before they expire, hope you can use them.

Here is one for Avis. I got a base rate of 116.oo for november using the code K163324. This was for a class B which is a compact. Good luck. I am also a bargain hunter and will keep looking for a lower rate. I may try price line in a few months if I don't have any luck.

If you use priceline for a car, can you specify that you want on sight companies only?

no, you can not specify on site rental companies only. I guess that is part of the luck of the draw. I would sacrafice off site for a really good rate. I used Alamo in november of 1999 and did not find it to be a hassle at all.
