Chit Chat Thread - November ADRs...

I am taking a couple pair of jeans for at night and then capris and t-shirts for the day. I'll also take a couple of long sleeve tops to layer - hoodie, long sleeve tee, and a sweatshirt. I'm also taking a rain jacket - looks like we might get some rain in the middle to end of the week (boo!)...and a swimsuit. I'm hoping it's warm enough to hit the pool one day!

We've gotten most of the ADRs that we wanted expect for Tusker House and I've got to try and squeeze an extra person in our Crystal Palace reservation (which turned out to be more stressful then stalking the website to get one!)

A Boma 7:35 breakfast was open on our Animal Kingdom day, so we decided to go with that instead of Tusker House. It's on an Early Extra Hour day and we're taking the buses that day.

Would we have a problem getting a bus to Animal Kingdom then getting a bus to Animal Kingdom Resort that early in the morning?

I feel you. I've been trying so hard to get an Akershus. Every time the perfect one pops up, it's long gone by the time I see it.

Need some advice please I currently have two PPO breakfast reservations. One at BOG for 8:10 and the other at Crystal Palace at 8:35. I've read that all PPO breakfast reservations are let in around the same time (7:45ish). Which of these reservations would you keep?

We're not concerned about making rope drop or getting in line for rides by a certain time, because we will have three other MK days. We mainly want some good pictures of a somewhat empty Main Street. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

If you've never eaten/been in Be Our Guest, I would vote for it. Crystal Palace will get you a LOT more food for not very much more cost. If you want to get a lot of food, I'd pick Crystal Palace.

Thank you! we do have lunch reservations at BOG on another day during our trip so we will at least get the experience either way! Just not sure if the 8:10 or 8:35 PPO reservation is better for a emptier Main Street.

I think I would lean toward the 8:35 reservation for an empty main street. With the 8:10 reservation I feel like you would be going in with the first big wave of people trying to get to the 8-8:30 reservations and whose goal might be more to make it to rides early.

You may need to ask this on the transportation thread...I would guess getting a resort but at AK wouldn't be too hard since the buses will be running from AK to AKL that early. If buses are dropping people off at the park they should be going back to the resort, I'd think.

I tried looking around on the transportation board but I can't find "How early" bus info. I have 2 PPO ADR's (Epcot and MK) and am trying to figure out if I will need to Uber it or what. TIA for any info/pointing me in the right direction!

I thought I read that they start an hour before the first ADR, but I'd love for someone to confirm!

I believe the buses start running around 6:30-6:45, but I'd check with the front desk.

omg I can't believe it my dr just called and told me I'm pregnant and we are leaving in a few hours!!!! Any fun ideas on how to tell my hubby while we are there! I'm so excited we have been seeing a fertility specialist for over a year now I can't believe it. I know it's too soon to be excited but what a perfect place to tell him it's crazy!!!

I posted this in another section also hope it's ok I'm just super excited!!!

Congrats! I like the onesie or mickey ears idea, or even just "casually" mentioning you want to do some special souvenir shopping and when he (hopefully) asks for who or what, you tell him for the baby, of course!

If you can't get any better time, I would arrive at CP by 1:00, and hope to get seated early. When you get seated, ask for your check( or scan bands) at the beginning, so you can leave once you've eaten and seen your characters. If you are waiting for a character who hasn't made it to your table, ask a waiter if they can get them to come over. Hopefully you can get out by 2:15 to run over to Fantasyland at the end of FP+ window. Good luck!

I have seen SEVERAL Fantasmic packages available for the 21st of November come and go over the past couple of weeks, but none for the other days over Thanksgiving week. Is there something wrong with the 21st that I should know about?
