One on the way to DVCLAURIE05. Receiving on time
Hello everyone! Happy Late 4th of July!
I have been receiving from ibleedblue each week. Thanks so much!
I have been mailing to Quasi123 each week also. I tried very hard to mail each Monday but occasionally, I just can't make to the PO before it closes. The latest any of mine are open is 4:00pm. I get off of work at 3:30 and it is 30 minutes away. They are used to me coming in at 3:58 and never fuss because they understand where I am coming from, but they do close promptly at 4:00pm.
I have exciting news to share. Recently my second son graduated from Air Force Basic Training. He is training to be part of the Hurricane Hunters, which is fitting since we live on the Gulf Coast and he has grown up with hurricanes. He has wanted to join their group since he was 12 years old and a friend took him to tour one of their planes. So now he is a professional police officer, professional (part-time) firefighter and soon to be a Hurricane Hunter with the Reserves.
I received from NYCDiane yesterday. I also received a package of goodies from my buddy in the other direction, Ibleedblue, who shared stuff from his recent trip to Gatlinburg that I can use for our upcoming trip to Gatlinburg! We're making the most of our National Parks pass that we got for free from the "Every Kid in a Park" program where 4th graders receive a FREE National Parks pass! This is a great program and FREE!! We got our pass last summer when our DS was going into 4th grade and we went to Mt. Rainier NP, Denali NP, and the Kennai Fjords and Exit Glacier. Then in the spring we went to Death Valley NP before we went to Disneyland. This summer we're hitting the Smoky Mountains NP and Mammoth Caves NP (and other cool stuff too).
In other exciting news we started walking our reservation for Aulani! Woo hoo! Also, DJ- I had meant to tell you that DS had Minnesota for his state fair project!!
Been receiving from Alyssa just fine and sending out to eyor44 every Monday.
But....man....I think my local paper may be trying to end my ride on the train. They went up to $4 for a Sunday paper this week!! Is there a way to just print the Sunday coupons at home? Paper and ink can't be $4 a week.
