Day 1 Disney Magic and not impressed

Speaking of Royal I was watching a video of their newest ships and saw Wonder of the Seas
has 7K passenger limit. I thought the vlogger was mistaken and looked it up. Yup 6,988.

Yikes! What is next? A Ship built for 8 9 10k? There has to be some kind of legal limit right?

Eww, that is just way too big for my taste. Then again, I feel that way about the Dream/Fantasy. Unless it’s a specific itinerary we want, we’ll always choose the Magic or Wonder.
To each his own though. Obviously there are people who feel that bigger is better.

I can’t shake the idea of Las Vegas when I think of Royal Caribbean. Casino, unlimited drink packages, hairy chest contest, shopping mall, hairspray as entertainment , etc. Add $25 if you lose track of your ship issued pool towel, not the vibe we are looking for with a family vacation.

Exactly. As if I’d want to keep their nasty stained towels. :crazy2: That was my biggest annoyance with RC.
Carnival had plenty of hairy chest contests too. The final straw was when the kids’ club for our then 9 year old was offering a “Coke-tail party.” No thanks.
DCL is a good fit for us even though our then 9 year old is now 25 and no longer sailing with us.
