I've been on the road quite a few times with no food truck, its not pretty!

Nothing like walking into a McDonalds and explaining to the manager that you need to feed 200 people ASAP!

Have a safe trip up to Indy. We are driving down on Tuesday so we can get settled in and take in some sights. We are going to miss I & E, so will probably take a ride to the Brickyard and do some shopping on Wed.

So I was out in the woods of Michigan last week for Camp Trans, a gathering for trans/genderqueer folk in response to the transphobic policies of the Michigan Women's Music Festival. MWMF denies trans women entry into the festival, so Camp Trans was created just outside the gate as a trans inclusive alternative.
As I arrive and get to meet folks, who should I meet but a person tossing a saber! I knew instantly this person was DCI, and they marched Cavies! They did the "Machine" show which I love, and also "My Kind of Town". So it just goes to show, you can meet DCI folks just about everywhere! And if you're in color guard, you probably are queer.

Looking forward to watching the Quarterfinals tomorrow night! I won't be going to Revere, I'll be at the Fenway AMC.
