Good afternoon. Sitting in a conference in St Louis killing time and trying to stay awake. Unfortunately I'm stuck with cell phone disboard access this week so I won't even attempt to catch up.

Back from the Keys. Seas and visibility sucked so no pictures of pretty fishes. Had a great time though. Spent a day with a friend that I have not seen in about three years. Good time catching up.

Latest update...they are not sure the issues yet so will keep him there overnight. He's apparently in the student care ward, so lots of young ones buzzing about, but are very attentive. Dad has a young traniee nurse assigned to him, much to his delight. They will bring in a lung specialist to see if he can get to the bottom of it.

Checking in as well and all caught up on this the new thread. It would be nice if I can keep up with this one for a change. Work/life has been crazy from my limited perspective, but when I consider all that others have going on it could be much worse. I am on the green side of the sod, employed, and most of the family is reasonably healthy so life is good.

Prayers for all dealing with sickness and for those dealing with weather issues. It is going to be an interesting winter I am afraid.

SWMBO and I were given a gift that will enable us to visit the world sooner than we had anticipated and were looking at Spring of 2015 for a 20th anniversary present, but given the way life has been going we may push it up a bit and try to visit in October 2014. We can call it her 48th BDay present and it would be just a bit early from my 50th and DS's 13th. I would ask your opinion but knowing you gentlemen the standard reply would be visit soon and often.

Nice! That is a stout tree. We do the artificial thing for convenience but I still appreciate a nice looking real tree. The resolution on the laptop isn't very good. Is that a balsam fir?
