We've been really lucky here. Our snow and ice turned to rain before I left for work. I got completely soaked on my way to the office, and then realized that my dry shoes and socks were sitting in a bag in my bedroom so that I wouldn't forget to bring them. I worked most of the day in bare feet, hoping that my socks and shoes would be dry enough to wear home. The trains station is a mile from my office, and I walk both ways. So, my shoes were dry enough to wear on the way home, but it was pouring again, so it really didn't matter! At least it wasn't snow and/or ice.
On another note--we made our plans for May. We'll be heading to WDW on May 15 or 16, and taking a four-night cruise on May 17, and then returning to WDW to celebrate our birthdays, which also happen to be Memorial Day weekend.
We're also starting to plan our family vacation in December. It looks like we will be taking that December cruise, and that we may even have the younger generations with us. There's also a stay at WDW involved, with DDIL's parents and other relatives. There will be no camping for us, this year, though. We're going to stay at a resort, regardless of what the rest of the gang decides to do!
