Thanks all for the kind words. Well I have taken the plunge and started planning, don't know when or how it will be paid for, but you got to start somewhere. What's New Year's Eve like at Disney?

We celebrated our Honeymoon at Disney and maybe we could get New Year's eve and our Tenth Anniversary togethor.

You can have Mya ask Santa for Disney tickets this Christmas. That is what we did with our boys about 3 yrs ago and they were so excited to find them in their stockings. We went Jan 2nd for 4 days about 3 years ago. There are no lines, no waits the weather was great. The boys wore sweat shirts in the morning and night with jeans or sweat pants. I would rather layer up and take off than stand in the heat.

We have a huge family gathering this New Years 2006. We are renting an 8 bedroom villa on Formosa Gardens and we have about 23 people going. We will be celebrating my Mom's 60th birthday on 1/1/07 and she will have all her grandkids with her. I am hoping to get her in the parade with the grandkids at MGM on that day.

Lynn

Thanks for the advice on Disney Scene It!!! Ben and I had a blast playing yesterday. :)

Does anyone else skip quesions? We're skipping the "spellbinders" right now. It's now fair since he is hot quite there in spelling yet.

We actually do, a few times over. DH grew up in a small town near Findlay, and their families know each other to some extent (everyone in rural NW Ohio knows each other :rotfl: ).

Then, first semester freshman year in college Ben and I were in a small group together and hung out from there. We were also both pre-med (at least at that point), so we pretty much stuck to the same circuits (socially and some classes) until he left after our Junior year.

Before anyone asks for box seats, I don't have those  We aren't close enough to chat daily, I've never been to his (giant) new house, etc. But if we're at the same function he knows Kyle and I and still comes to chat for a minute. He's definately a class act guy. :goodvibes

im definitely jealous--i love him ahah

Tammi - we Bengals fans have a HUGE advantage over the steeler fans - we dont expect ANYTHING from them - we are just ecstatic they actually made the playoffs!!

which might be why the bengals will have an advantage over the steelers - I just hope it isn't cold - carson doesn't do so well when it is - being a Southern California boy

Mac - happy anniversary!!!! Good to "see" you again

Same where we live... new houses pushing them out with no where to go! Sad!

I can sympathize. In our neighborhood we regularly have elk, deer, quail and foxes in our yard. What was really scary was that last year a neighbor of mine was having lunch in the yard with her 3 kids and a cougar strolled into her yard as bold as brass. They bolted into the house and called the police. The police connected them with the city offices and they were told they could do nothing since the cougars were here first. Now that's comforting. We had a neighborhood meeting and contacted the Fish and Game people and they told us to go ahead and if we saw it to shoot at it. I hate to see that happen, but I'd much rather a cougar die than any of our kids who have to walk to and from school. It's a tough situation. Finally, a neighbor got the cougar trapped in his yard and called F & G. They came, tranquilized it and took it elsewhere to be released. It was really scary for a while.

Morning Strangers!

Just thought I would pop in and say hello. I have backed up and become a lurker, because seeing this place let's me know how much I miss not being at Disney.

My wife has told me we need to plan another trip since she was so ill on the last one and I don't think a day goes by that Mya doesn't say "Daddy, when are we going to ride the Teapots again"

So I guess it's time to save that pocket change and see what specials come up. I did just purchase 100 pins for trading, so that's a start. That pin trading was addictive!

Hope all of you are doing well!

p.s. Today is my wife and my Nineth Year Wedding Anniversary. :sunny: Wow time flys!

Oh I almost forgot, congrats Alabama, you beat my Alma Mater. I was in shock standing there watching that knuckle ball go over the post. Your fan's were quite pleasant however.

Yea! Mac's back! It's nice to see you. Stop lurking and join in the fun! We now have another man here, and I'm sure he'd be glad for the company. Not to mention Paul is still lurking. We need more testosterone.

Congrats on being able to plan another trip. I can't wait to read all about it!

By the way, your family picture is gorgeous! You have a beautiful family. Congratulations on 9 years! That is wonderful!

Mac -- what a beautiful family you have! Mya seems to get prettier by the day.

CONGRATS on your wedding anniversary!

Thanks, it's nowhere near as impressive as what you are doing. Sometimes I wish I could be a full time student, then I remember how hard it was.

My Dad always taught me to stay away from animals in the day... never know..

so sorry if it came off bragging!

I definitely think you deserve some recognition and applause for all of that work! It's not bragging, especially since you're sharing it with "family." I am very happy that your work paid off!
