Finished with 4 am alarm clocks!

I was one of the lucky people to get CRT this morning for 12/6!!! I am thrilled, and I got through on two phones within 15 seconds of each other at 7:08 by my clock, and had two choices for time for 5 people.

For the past 5 days it's been like having a newborn in the house, with the stupid alarm going off at 3:55 to make these calls! LOL!!! I got my Wishes cruise on my first attempt last week, and today was my "I'm giving up after this" date for CRT!

Hope lots of DISers were as lucky today. As for me, I'M SLEEPING IN TOMORROW!!!

BTW---I used 1 407 and 1 800 number, and they were answered within 15 seconds of each other, and the hit 1 then 1 thing didn't work on either line.

What did you hit if you did not hit 1 then 1 thing. I don't understand you saying it did not work. What did work? I got in at 7:15 but sold out so I will be trying tomorrow I guess but had to rearrange my whole plans oh well. By the way CONGRATS!

I have read numerous times that people hitting 1 then 1 bypass all the other prompts and go directly into the queue. That didn't happen to me. I pressed 1 then 1, but was then asked for my ressie/phone number, and the next two questions about how many past visits.

Hey Patti,

I live on the East Coast, but was in Las Vegas visiting my mom over the labor day weekend. Getting up at 4am really sucks. I feel for you all on other time zones. The worst was last Thursday 9/2/04. My flight got into LV late that evening and I literally had 2 hours sleep got up and was on hold for 2 hours before I gave up (I heard later that the system was down that morning). I was useless that day, I was so tired from getting up and the jet lag.

Glad you got your ressies. I had 2 weeks worth of Ressies to make and I am glad it's over!!

Yes....I feel your pain. And I will be continuing to feel the pain for the next 4 days!

My alarm goes off at 3:50am...I grab my cell phone that I've put on my night stand. Slowly I sit up...looking at the clock.... waiting for that magical opening time.

Start calling....I'm put on hold to listen to disney music. Start my way down stairs to my premade coffee that I've set to start at 3:55am, since I have no idea if I will be holding for 5 minutes or 50 minutes. Now singing out loud to the music being piped in my ear, fear of falling asleep since I've been now doing this for the past 5 days. Cats are now listening to my non singing ability....

It's not a pretty site around 4am at my house!

Last week was BRUTAL! I work at a casino, so I get home from work around 1 am, set the alarm for 3:55, can't fall back to sleep after repeated failures to get PS's, then the alarm clocks I gave birth to (aka KIDS!) get up at 6:45. I just kept reminding myself how much we LOVE CRT. However, that line doesn't sound quite right day after day through gritted teeth!!! LOL!!!

vjc---My dog did not move a muscle. One day I thought I heard her giggling, but it may have been DH snoring...

Melanie---I'm from Jersey! Did you enjoy Vegas? Great weather this past weekend, wasn't it?
