Count on me as a workout buddy! Last year, I lost 45 pounds. I'd like to do the same this year, although it will probably be more difficult than the first 45. I awaken early, so it's off to the gym first thing - it keeps me out of trouble, lol, and i'm home to start the day by the time dh is ready for breakfast. I try to do at least 200 minutes per week.
Tomorrow morning, if someone else hasn't already started the new thread, I will do it.
poor, you, it so diff to stope smoking, I watched my poor mum try a hundred times before she cracked it!I would like the buddy thing to be it's own thread, so we can motivate each other better.
I've been blessed with a home step routine that I do three days a week.
Lent starts next week and I'm giving the cigs the heave ho. I've already trained myself not to smoke anywhere but on my patio. I never carry them with me, so if were out for eight hours I do without. I'm hoping this will help me having broken it down to increments.
I smoked on our veranda on our last cruise, and I irritated the people next to us. I found this out when I read their trip report. I felt terrible.

If anyone enjoys running, you will most likely find me running on deck 4 almost every morning. I love to run (hence my screen name).
I also love to motivate and encourage people when it comes to working out and getting fit (I've had people tell me I should be a personal trainer).
Anyway, assuming I'm not injured (like I am right now as I'm sitting on my couch with a torn ligament in my foot), I will for sure be working out reguarily on the ship (running on deck 4, or working out in the fitness center), and doing the Castaway 5K (along with my husband), so if anyone wants to run with me, let me know!!
You will defnitely also find me relaxing doing absolutely nothing at the quiet cove pool quite often (or whatever the adult pool is called on the Wonder... I've only been on the Magic)!
