see i found the DVD very helpful..super easy to follow too...

but yea go to the store and have them show you... tell them you want the KISS method

now my DH is getting on me about the PC...:rotfl: :rotfl:

he is thinking this thread Kel started might not be sooo good for his pocketbook either :rotfl: :rotfl:

what me no way!! :rotfl:

Thanks, Kelly.

Ok, I don't have any Coach or Vera. But I do love Bare Minerals, so can I stay and play? But I am on a severe budget at the moment so I can stay home (well, I teach pre-school but there's NO money in that...) and not work full-time. I spend all my money on our trips to Disney, so no shopping for me anymore. Boo hoo!

Guess what?!! Rees FINALLY had his appointment yesterday with the GI practice after close to 7 months of trying to get in there (the one I was mentioning from the beginning of this thread). WOW! DH says it's harder to get in there than it is to break into Fort Know. We saw the loveley GI doctor who originally admitted him to the hospital in October and did the Endoscopy and biopsies. She was thrilled with his progress and how he was doing. Rees weighed 46.6 pounds, up from 38 (his low) at the end of November. She couldn't believe it was the same child she saw in the hospital. Of course Rees' favorite part of the day (after the 4 HOUR doctor's appointment) was lunch at our local Regional Airport and watching the planes. He and DS love it so much there that we are having their birthday party there (for the boys). DD is having a few friends to lunch at the American Girl Store.

GI Doctor wants us to follow-up in her office in 2 to 3 weeks because... if Rees maintains his weight or gains weight during that time period, she will take the G-tube out! Hip Hip Hooray!!!! Rees has been off the tube feeds since early January and is eating fantastically. So please say a prayer that he continues to do so well, and this may all be over in just a few short weeks. He is thriving in school and is so happy to be back with his friends and teachers. We are so very lucky to have such a fantastic team for him at his Elementary school and Physical Therapy.

And, no update would be complete without letting you know we have rescheduled our celebratory Disney trip to the beginning of May. As Rees reminded me today, "60 more days, Mom!"

Thank you, as always, for your continued prayers and support. God bless.

That's wonderful, triplefigs. I will be sending good thoughts and prayers your way.

I am from Boston. I still in MA.
I lived there for four years. I love it there.

Thanks, Kelley.

I have one very small Coach and it was free at a casino shopping spree thingy that my parents had.
I don't have any Vera Bradley, just want the luggage/bag set. I really like to have matching luggage when I travel. I never do though. :rotfl:

I am watching Jericho
I love this show.
Lets see I also watch all those VH1 cheeseball shows.
I like men with an english accent especially Ewan McGregor.

Can I ask you what medical issue Reese is having? I have seen several of your post about his health but was unsure how to ask you. :goodvibes

Thread all about it. Long story short, Rees has numerous complicated and serious medical issues anyway, but he got VERY ill last fall. Took months to figure out what. Turns out his stomach twisted upon itself. He had 3 surgeries including a feeding tube. Was in the hospital for a month, missed an entire quarter of school (Sept to January), and got down to 38 pounds. It was a long and very emotional fall.

this is HOT.. too bad he is too young for me :rotfl:

For some reason none of my photos will show up on this post....AACKKKKKK
i think I have been monitored and censored :lmao:

Skeet Ulrich was born on the January 20th, 1969. (Some reports list it as 1970; if I am given official word on which year is correct, I will post it here.)

wooohoooo he is older than I AM!!!!! He isn't too young for me

What a horrible experience to go through for anyone, especially a child. :goodvibes my thoughts and prayers are with you. :flower3:

Good morning all you shopping addicts :lmao: :lmao:

Since we are gabbing about shopping.... I need a new bathing suit for my trip in June :scared1:

I am a size 8 usually (sometimes 6 sometimes 10, depends on the style and the cut) so that will give you an idea of the range I am looking for.

I have "issues" with my tummy :rotfl:
I had 3 kids each one HUGE and lost tons and tons of weight (all together around 180 pounds lost) so my tummy looks like it went through WW3 :rotfl2:

I need something with suck in power ;)
I do work out and have muscle definition but short of a TT there isn't much else I can do about my tummy....

What brand suit do you find has the most "sucking in" power? :lmao:

I know every store has their own sucking in suit but I figured I would ask you shopping addicts in case you knew of one that was better than others...

I am planning lots of time at the resort pool in June and I want to look nice and sophisticated... not sleezy :rotfl: I am 36 years old... a little too old for hoochie mama status :rotfl: :rotfl:

Edit to add... I am also very top heavy so need lots of support on top..

Morning, GF friends....I see the chit-chat has moved. I hate change, but will still drop in to see what's happening if I can remember where we are! BTW, no chance of this thread being locked, is there??:lmao:
All this talk of cosmetics...I've never seen those BM commercials, do not use much makeup, or even have much of a face cleansing routine, but by the sound of things, this stuff is NOT cheap! Am I right? I've had people introduce me to Arbonne (sp?) and it was hideously high...I've been a Cover Girl sort of person most of the time. Recently discovered Origins and thought I had hit paydirt for my skin. Kind of expensive considering my usual habits....but then I see a piece on local TV on what's in our makeup...carcinogens, etc. Scary...you wouldn't like it. I bet BM is on the list. A lot of expensive products had harmful things in 'em.
Denise, YAY that your son is doing better!
49 days, and I'm at Disney!! WL this time. (need my "lobby fix")

That is the best part about bare minerals.. its actually better for your skin... none of that carcinogens are bad stuff in them. It isn't like any "make up" you have tried before... there is no liquid foundations or liguid cover ups that sink and absorb into your pores. This comes in a super light powder form (though it is NOT a powder) and you just swirl it on with a brush.
It is made with pure minerals rather than any chemically engineered stuff.

Land's End are good. Underwire is available. They have custom options too. Run about $100. I am 27, but never lost weight after I had my DD. I was a 6 before her. Got up to a 16 after my husband died, and I am now a 10. Still trying to get back to an 8. So I have tummy issues and I am also top heavy (36DD). There is also a website called biggerbras.com you may want to look at. They have a ton of "bra size" swimsuits. I have not ordered from them before, but I was browsing their site the other day. I am looking for a new suit as well. Miraclesuit is supposed to be a good brand, but I have not tried that one. Maybe you could take a trip to Baton Rouge and check Macy's. I bet they have a good selection.

Denise, I am glad to hear that things are finially going well for your son! I have been following your story on your thread for a while and have been praying for him. Hopefully this upcoming trip will be the perfect way to celebrate everyone being in good health!

I have never really known how to do much in the way of make-up.... Is BM that easy to use?

I was gonna say Lands End too. They have lots of bathing suits to choose from.
Thanks arbonnette for the makeup facts. Now, on to see the cost...I fear it will give me a mini-stroke!:lmao: See, I just don't spend time on my face. I have freckles, some wrinkles (well-earned) and slightly dry skin. If I KNEW I could get good results with a 5 minute application, it might be worth it to me. And I live a short distance away from an Ulta.

The voice sounded familiar
I als think that major in the town is gonna team up with Hawkins and others. I think he realizes hes being used. I hate that Ravenclaw guy.

I might have to do that. I have previewed this years suits at landend's website... just to get an idea of what they offered and I didn't care for the new suits this spring.

The miracle suit... well most of them that offer the underwire... start at a size 10 so a tad too big for me. I have also been looking at Victoria Secrets magic suit ... yup they have a suit that isn't hoochie mama like :rotfl2:
I like it but going to have to try it on to see how it looks... i am not thrilled with the high hip line :scared1:
V269785_CMYK.jpg

You can get the matching cover up skirt to go with it....

Maybe if I sew the skirt to the suit my hips won't be as exposed :rotfl: :rotfl:

I don't actually like the new ones for this year either. :rotfl: I had a great strapless one with underwire from Land's End, but it is all worn out from 4 years of wear. I was disappointed they are all starting to look too "Mom" for me. :rotfl: (Not that that is a bad thing, just not for me.)

Ooo, I like that VS one. I have a small lower body, so that may work for me. I am going to go to Macy's next week because I need to find one soon so I can bring it to San Antonio next month. I will let you know that they have.

Have a great day, ladies. I better get up and take DD to school! Oh, and maybe give her some breakfast. She is wearing a dancing costume right now, hot pink and black with silver sequins and I don't think that will pass for her uniform. :rotfl:
