My sister has done it once two years ago, and was happy with the results. According to her ”Expert” it’s best to skip a year before planting in the same ground. There are two full moons this October which is good because she hasn’t gotten any to plant. I looked up the tradition....it’s not universally accepted.

My sister will most likely stick with what worked before, but I did find this:

I was going to pat myself on the back...thought I scored on some sonoma metal star wars cookie cutters...nah only 4.00 each...I bought four for a $1.00 today at goodwill color code c dollar day...so $4.00 each at farmer market stand... bought a vintage hat...all these week the pin was on it, then someone stole it. pin worht more than hat....star war cutters where never there on display, must have come out last night on returns.

I’m trying to decide to free up space in my reading room by removing the twin bed. It’s been used once in a year, and we do have another one upstairs.

getting ready to process dates gathered from watering ground well of date tree across the street...suitable only for baking...not the good type of date to eat, but could be nuke and smashed for cereal. I was able to use my pole scoop from last years as bending down irrates the 4 inche incsions on my forehead, cold this morning so easy to do. slept in...someone house alarm was going off while I was sleeping outside, down the block, went back to the couch...I rotate between outside reclineer and inside high pillow arm sofa, I only sleep on my righ side for now, so roatation and swimming for nose are really helping with my quality of sleep, just no much of it with constant waking up.

so if the moon rises in the east...and ocean is to the east...less dramatic ? all of my life the moon has come up over a mountain......huh...I forgot 1985 to 2010....and now that i think about it...I don't recall a full moon rising at Highland falls either...I remember it following me along the hudson river at night walks though.

Moonlong, sunday...last night for me...will be at 8:30 or later as it has taller peak to come over tonight.

*watered abandon property tall tree/shrub/bush next to neighbors across the street...no monsoon, no rain till Dec now and then it won't amount to much.
* packaged dates, stored in back of fridge . lowest shelf to the rear.. maybe the last though dates still on tree.
