I see that at Christmas the castle is covered in lights. Do they only light it up during the Christmas Party nights or any evening during the season? I am not sure if I can afford a party ticket, but I would hate not to see the pretty castle lights! Also, does anyone know if the "regular hours" are more crowded on a party day or non-party day? Thanks!
Now after a few years to cool down I believe every thing deserves a 2nd chance. So we are suprising my almost 13 year old with the party. We have dinner resv. at cali gril at 5:30 and then we are planning to act like we are going to take the bus back to the resort and take a turn back into the party. I am hopeing that with my hubby and I both in scooters(me do to pending ankle surgery and hubby neropathy) we won't have as many problems. My hubby said that if it is as crowded he is throing my son on the scooter and going. I pray because we are going on the 14th it won't be as crowded!
Here is my generic response to this question
I used to love MVMCP, but it not not a good value for the money anymore. The number of tickets they sold (past) used to make the parks very easy to navigate, but each year they sell more and more tickets and so it is like the transition of regular hours and EMH throughout the entire party. Also, they have cut-back quite a bit. The first party I went to in 2002 had a lot more entertainment, there were so many more decorations you would not believe it, we received a photo, the cocoa and cookies were good back then and we paid $27 for our party ticket. 9 years later, most all of that is gone and the tickets are close to $70.
So, if you have money to spend to go to a busy EMH, you are buying a special parade and a special version of Wishes (for the most part).
Just a question do any of you know the offical dates of the party? i asked in another thread and they said they werent released yet but if someone has tickets then that means they are released thanks
