Hello... Looking for a hotel in Port Canaveral near the port. We wanted a great pool area. Their will be 4 kids. We may do Kennedy space center depending on what time our flight gets in.
Thank you.

Price range?
Need shuttle? Or parking while in cruise?
One room for 4 kids and ?2 adults or multiple rooms?

Radisson Resort at the Port has been an old standby.

Country Inn & Suites - we stayed here in 2010. Again, part of the collection of older lodging. Doesn’t mean bad; it just won’t be sparkly new.

Home2Suites has a zero-entry (saline) pool. Hotel built in 2020. Hilton family loyalty program.

They offer rooms with 2 queens and a sleeper sofa.

I usually book Hilton or Marriott properties. And check out TripAdvisor. I also don’t stay in Canaveral.

Here are the top value hotels per Tripadvisor. The first two are older, as stated previously. There has been a lot of hotels built since then, essentially all the rest on this list.

radisson at the port was our go to. However it has been overrun by locals who drink by the pool. They have very limited chairs and it’s not as fun as it was. Go for home2. Newer!

We have stayed at Hampton and Towneplace. Prefer Hampton, better breakfast, pool and overall atmosphere.

I stayed at Raddison and wasn't that impressed. The pool is nice but it's an older property that shows its age. Mornings are crazy because it's so popular and I just didn't find it worth the price.

Next time we'll probably try the Hampton Inn that was just built or find a place at Coco Beach.

We had our whole family (16) there in 2022 pre-cruise and everybody enjoyed it. Some were in the Home-2-Suites side.
I'm a Hilton rewards member so I try to stay at Hilton properties when I can. I will definitely check it out.

How easy was it to get to the terminal?

We like the Hampton Inn these days. Plus they have a walk way to the beach. Nice breakfast
There are two Hampton Inns. The one in Cocoa Beach has the walkway to the beach. The one in Cape Canaveral that is attached to the Home2Suites does not, and is not in convenient walkable distance to a beach.

I belong to Hilton’s loyalty program, so I have stayed at the Homewood Suites, Home2Suites, and Hampton Inn near the port. All three are very nice, but the Hampton/Home2 has a nicer pool area. If rates are similar, I usually choose the Home2, but generally I just go with whichever one has the best rate.

If I am staying farther south in Cocoa Beach, I prefer the Hilton Garden Inn over the Hampton or Hilton in that area. The HGI has balconies for most of their rooms (there are a few second floor rooms near the elevator that do not have a balcony), they are right on the beach, and they have a nice on site restaurant. The Hilton does not have balconies at all and the Hampton sits back from the beach (hence the walkway mentioned by the PP). The Cocoa Beach hotels have transportation available to the port just like the Cape Canaveral hotels do.

This is the one I was referring to. https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/coibhhx-hampton-cocoa-beach-cape-canaveral/ I have also stayed at the Hilton further down the road-also on beach. Like this better. There are a lot of "Hilton's" LOL
Yes, there are. I was surprised they didn’t remove the “Cape Canaveral” from the name of the Hampton in Cocoa Beach when they built the new one near the port. I would think a lot of people would confuse the two, and either be upset because they weren’t near the beach or upset that they weren’t right at the port.
