Our OKW 60 point/Extended years purchase passed ROFR on Dec 23rd. I'm currently at " waiting" on the link and thought we should give an update. Now for the wait for closing...We had a longer wait because Disney found the use year listed was incorrect and addendum documents had to be signed and approved.

I *think* you might be able to transfer those points to someone that has a reservation for end of January IF you can get the points loaded into your account in time...of course, that is highly unlikely at this point in time.

Normally I'd agree with you, but they don't have the points in their account yet since they just passed ROFR on dec 27th. The points must be used by end of January, so it will be very difficult to find someone that can take those points off their hands. $5 a point might be enough of a discount to make it happen though.

I've seen the timeshare store rents points expiring soon for $8 pp (not sure how much of a cut they take) and I know David's also helps rent last minute points too but they do suggest very low prices-heck though $3-4 pp could be $150-$200 toward covering closing costs or 2017 dues rather than them expiring without any use
